  1. Crowder picked by Broncos. I love the way he plays.
  2. I cant believe so many people hype up Henry who is strictly a workout warrior with low production, while Jackie Battle is equally athletic and big, and actually put up very good numbers, and gets no attention.
  3. I knwo youre not. I think me and you saw eye-to-eye on Jarrett a couple weeks ago. I am more referring to some reactions after the trade.
  4. And the same old stuff as last year. People mad becuase we didnt get their WR(coughmosscough). We are in a really nice position to get Black, Durant, Waters, and maybe DeOssie, though Im not a huge fan of his. Even a few DB'slike Gattis would be nice there.
  5. Cool, Im glad we traded down. Chargers got Weddle. Nice pick.
  6. Id much rathe rhave Sidney Rice, but I dont want a WR at 37 at all.
  7. I couldnt agree any more. I hate Sears. Im so glad we didnt get a chance to get him or Poz. I called Sears a slob earlier on this board, and Im sticking to it.
  8. I would have liked to trade down, but not bad.
  9. Damnit, I really wanted Staley on the Back of a Bears jersey not worn by our mascot.
  10. Well maybe the rumors abotu Branch being injured(dont remember what, but I thought it was a shin fracture) are true.
  11. I could see them taking Branch, but they like Lake and Hollis, so who knows.
  12. So helmet basher, or Weddle, or Houston, or someone else entirely for the Pats?
  13. Wow it was the second this year, and the first next year!!!!!!! Wow. Great deal for the boys. Great deal. great deal.
  14. Wow. Cool trade right there. Browns are likely to be a top ten pick again next year, and the boys just picked it up. Quinn may just go backstage and cry. From crap, to playing for your home town team. I dont like him or his uggo girlfriend, but could anyone imagine how much playing for the Bears would lift up your spirits after the day he had.
  15. They must have gotten scared that losing Allen for the eginning of the season would push Cincy to take him. This year is too deep at DE, IMO, to make that deal unless you absolutely love the guy.
  16. I dont know what this is supposed to infer, but it is my brain. They lack a field stretcher at TE, and have no depth at S. Not to mention they moved into a good value area for either.
  17. There's a very good chance they go Safety or Olsen. I dont think they take Quinn.
  18. Brady's ugly girlfriend looks like she's going to yarf. How classic.
  19. Yeah, I mentioned Nicholas in the post you actually quoted(after DeOssie, and before Robison). I didnt use his first name, but it's in there in the list of guys I could see falling to our third spot who are of high value, IMO. Also, as I said about Beason. The guy gets eaten alive along the line, and he is not a beast. He is a very savvy LB, and knows his role very well, but he is so overrated it is unbelievable. Briggs also weighed in at 242 when he ran his 4.65, and showed speed and the ability to play along the line at U of A. One last thing about Beason is that he partially tore his MCL this season, and I would rather not spend another high pick on a guy who has recently had a serious knee injury(coughcolumbocough). There are even some out there who believe the injury he suffered working out on the cybex machine in strength tests at the combine was directly related to the weakness in that ligament. I think LB can wait, and actually, I am very happy with Williams going in as our Will.
  20. I really believe we will be able to move that pick if we get it. All the rumors around about teams jockeying for position for a few of players(Willis, Landry, Adams, and even Anderson), make me think that even more. It is THE prime position for teams who really want one of those players to move to get their man.
  21. I personally hate, Beason. He had to slim down to 229 to run a sub 4.7 time, and he is terrible along the line(we need a better athlete than that at WLB, we already have one Hx2). I really hope we just put off LB until our third pick, and see whos there. Maybe Johnson, Black, Shaw, Waters, DeOssie, Nicholas or even try and convert Brian Robison back to LB there. OT:I would really like Robison in the third. He could provide the youth and pass rushing off the edge at DE to ensure the future of that position with Anderson, and even push Izzie inside where he will provide depth where we need it. Izzie puts on ten or so pounds, and I really like him at DT. I realize he is listed at 270, but if you look at the guy compared to the other lineman on the field he is 280, EASY.
