Improvement is not linear, but it also shouldn't be so volatile. There are very few average games for Fields. He is either really good or really bad. The defense held the Vikings to 13 pts. Fields looks slower or tired. In most of his runs this year, I have noticed he doesn't have that juice he had last year when he was breaking those long ones. He is also not throwing the ball again, got sacked again, and landed hard on his throwing hand.
