  1. I'm seeing players making unbelievable catches all weekend long and Mooney can't squeeze a ball with gloves on?
  2. Not that it matters but I just saw a replay of the 2nd quarter hail Mary INT, they called it an INT but it hit the ground. I'm surprised they just called.it that and didn't check replay.

Fields ended up with a great chance to be the hero and his decisive drive was a 3 and out for negative -2 yards with the game on the line. If they get one first down it is probably game over (since 4th Down hit the 2 minute warning) because they could've burnt more clock and the CLE timeouts. They had 2 timeouts, so that would stop the clock on 1st and 2nd, then the full clock gets burnt on 3rd and you could run the clock down all the way on 4th. The play clock is 40 secs, so they couldve burnt at least 1:30 leaving CLE 30 seconds and no timeouts.
  4. MIN and GB both lost too. If Mooney holds on, what a totally different story this would be. Now it's just the same ole shit.
  5. Fields has the 3rd worst QB Rating this week (only Wilson and Siemian) and had a worse game than Trubisky, Levis, DeVito, Ridder, Stick, O'Connell, Zappe, and Browning.

Yep, if they were on the fence like a lot of fans have been, the answer is clear that you have to clean house from HC to QB.

Coaching is terrible, but great players can overcome bad things. Fields can't overcome that if his only plus trait is running and he barely uses it.
  8. With his overall blocking, he is subpar for me. For whatever reason, he looks nothing like the WR we saw last year. He is probably avoiding contact so he doesn't get injured in a contract year. You have to catch that ball, that was not a finger tip catch or contested. Go look at Adam Hoge's tweet with the Mooney pic, he is laying on his back with the ball in his hands on his chest. All he has to do is clamp it.

Yeah this loss was the defining moment for Flus, Getsy, and Fields.
  10. 3 epic collapses this season are the difference between the playoffs and a top 5 pick. Bears currently locked into the #1 and #5 picks.
  11. He was laying down with ball on his chest. All he had to do is go into the fetal position around the ball.

If they get rid of the coaches, I think Fields is gone. There is no point putting him on his 3rd OC with a young QB with him.

Nope, he is not a difference maker. Cleveland could care less about him running and that is his only threat.
  14. As good as some of the defense played, Cooper and Njoku had over 100 yards receiving (each) and the Bears got gashed for 4 plays over 40 yards. That feels like Safety failures to me. Brisker is not good in deep coverage and Jackson just pretends like he is playing. The INT he got was thrown right to him.
  15. Fields had 40 attempts for 166 yards, a 60-yr old Flacco had 44 attempts for 374 yards.
  16. Fields last 6 drives: punt, Turnover on Downs (couldn't get 1 yard), punt, punt. punt, INT.
  17. adam replied to adam's topic in Bearstalk
Yep just hike and throw it to the outside, they had that on the last 2 plays, so dumb.
  18. This was a good chunk of 2nd string players for Cleveland, a terrible loss. Flus, Getsy, and Fields need to go. We need an offense that scares people. Cleveland didnt give a crap about Fields running.
  19. adam replied to adam's topic in Bearstalk
Welp, the Cleveland game was the signature game for Fields, he didn't need to pass for a ton, just don't turn the ball over and get the offense to score 17+. The offense scored 10 pts and he didn't play particularly well. So out of the last 4 games, I would say he is 2-2 which is not good enough.
  20. Remember Mooney lost the WAS game when he couldnt extend the ball 1/2 a foot. So this is the 2nd time he lost the game for the Bears, unbelievable.
  21. Mooney can enjoy free agency, you had the winning TD in your hands on the ground, and you kick it up to a defender to lose the game? GTFO, DFA him the rest of the year, call up someone who is gonna actually try.
  22. This was Fields chance for a statement game and the offense scored 10 pts and 7 was with the ball at the 2 after the Jackson INT.
  23. That Tonyan drop which was an easy TD is the difference.
