Regardless of the outcome, Fields is looking great. 15-20, 162 yds, 1 TD, 115 QB Rating, 11-55 rushing. He is getting pressured a lot but has not taken a sack.

The play clock almost runs out, but Bears get a timeout in before the penalty. Fake run, then pass to Tonyan, defensive PI. 1st down on the half yard line. Foreman walks in for the ez TD. 7-0 Bears. No 3rd downs, all 1st and 2nd downs. Crazy.

No excuses today for the entire team. Even if they lose, as long as they are super competitive and lose, they can at least show they belong. A win is obviously better, but a bad loss, even a 10 point loss would be disappointing because one extra first rounder isn't going to magically make them contenders. They need to do it with the players they have now. Poles/Eberflus have never beaten an NFC North opponent, not really taking the North.

If there ever was a game to steal, it is this one. Lions coming home from a west coast game, Bears on extended rest from TNF, Bears healthier than they have been all year, and Detroit plays again on Thanksgiving.

Penix continues to put up big numbers. Jayden Daniels had 372 passing yards, 3 TD, 0 INT AND 12 rushes for 234 yards and 2 TDs, an insane game last week.

I am not liking either of them at #1. I would rather trade down and gain 1 or 2 additional first rounders.
