  1. In a weird way, he is a like a mix between Fields and Trubisky.
  2. Mahomes 6 TD, 8 INT this season so far. Hmmm, almost like not having elite skill position players matters. No Pacheco, no Hill, no Rice, Kelce over the hill, and no other reliable WR.
  3. That was my biggest gripe with him. He is too comfortable running, but in the NFL players are faster and bigger. When I saw Jalen Carter lift Daniels up with one arm on a sack, that was enough for me. Very few players as skinny as him are in the NFL running as much as he does. The difference is muscle and fat can absorb hits, but when you are skinny, it is tendon, ligaments, and bones that take all the hits.
  4. I think Maye will be solid, like a better version of Davis Mills with a shorter neck. If you look at his first start, it was the same thing. Down by 20 pts late in the 3rd, then he gets 100+ yards and 2 TDs in garbage time when the team loses by 20. So half of his current stats and 3 of his TDs have come in garbage time. The difference between first games is hard to compare because one was Week 1 and one was Week 6. That's a huge difference to be able to sit for over a month before having to start.
  5. Daniels vs CAR, 6 passing yards, 0 TD, 0 INT. Williams vs CAR, 304 passing yards, 2 TD, 0 INT.
  6. Just like that, he is hurt, Mariota in. Crazy.
  7. Damn, watching Daniels scares me. It seems like every time he is tackled, he is going to tear an ACL.
  8. Stroud was 10-21, 86 yds, 0 TD, 0 INT against GB. He is a different QB without Collins.
  9. The DET vs MIN game was awesome. The NFL should almost play 3x vs Division teams when they go to 18 games. 9 Division games, 4 games against another division, 4 against division from the other conference, and 1 game against a random opponent based on record.
  10. WTF happened in the GB game? They gave Doubs a catch when he clearly didn't "survive the ground", which gave them 6 extra yards right before the game winning FG. Unbelievable.
  11. The deadline for the league dues is October 31st, I extended it for those that did not pay yet. Please pay up so I can close this out. Thanks, Adam.
  12. Watson tore his achilles, like Rodgers, career probably over, if it is the same side as his knee injury.
  13. Yeah, the narratives are crazy. If you watch it like you said, Caleb looks even better. He has maybe one or two brain farts a game, but then the other 95% is literally top 5 level QBing.
  14. HOU has scored 19 on GB in the first half. HOU scored 19 against CHI.
  15. Fake punt from your 30, turns into a TD for Vikings. Wow Lions. This is where you have to criticize Dan Campbell. If they lose by 7 or less, it is 100% on him.
  16. Jordan Love first drive, almost a pick 6 lol. I am telling you, he is probably the luckiest QB in the NFL over the last year and a half. I have never seen so many near INTs either get dropped by a DB or somehow miraculously caught by a receiver. Eventually the average will catch up to him. He had 11 INTs in 579 passing attempts last year. This year he has 148 attempts and 7 INTs. One every 52 attempts to one every 22.
  17. Drake Maye 16-37, 70.3%, 276 yds, 2 TD, 0 INT against JAX. Wow what an amazing game for the rookie. However, what they won't tell you is 135 yards and 1 TD came in the 4th quarter down 15 with the Jaguars playing prevent.
  18. Sweat can play both sides. I only know of the breakdown by position, but not by location.
  19. Now other teams have to drink the koolaid and convince themselves that their young QB is their next franchise QB.
  20. Did you see that Thursday Night barn burner? That was such a terrible game, and even though the Broncos handily beat the Saints, it was not because of Nix. These are the two best plays to depict the TNF game: and
  21. I agree. It also helps with the team building. Just think if they had two tough games instead of CAR and JAX, and it was SF and MIN or something like that with 2 losses. They would be 2-4 and not feeling very good.
  22. I am good with keeping him because an injury to Swift and you are using Roschon and Homer, and I don't think anyone wants more Homer.
  23. He won't make enough on the free market to figure into the comp pick formula, so the thought process is to see if you can get ANYTHING in terms of draft capital for him that could help you in future years. Basically Herbert's value ends this season. If you can get even a late round pick for him, his value extends beyond the contract. The Patriots and Niners have been doing it multiple ways for years. They either acquire a one-year rental with a low pick and get back a higher one from the comp picks or trade away their guys before the contract runs out to ensure they get something for him. The bottom feeders, including the Bears for quite awhile, do the exact opposite. They end up with too many boat anchors, players that have a negative effect on the roster after they leave. That is either with dead cap or by the loss of a future draft pick that was used to trade for them. The Bears felt the Mack trade from the Raiders up until last year. Like the Claypool trade, that will actually be felt on the roster thru 2026 (the last year of the rookie deal from the 2023 draft).
  24. JAX and LAR won the week before the Bears game. LAR beat SF. JAX beat IND. I don't think it is a but because in previous seasons the Bears would lose a few of these games. Most of the teams that make the playoffs, especially the WC Teams are normally teams that were 8-2 vs non-playoff teams and 2-5 against playoff teams. That is how you get to only 9 or 10 wins. The teams winning 12+ are the ones with winning records against playoff teams.
  25. and just think of that with an improved O-Line?
