Cold Hard Facts Stats Scoreability Index / Bendability Index Team - Score / Bend Bears – 1 / 3 San Diego – 2 / 17 Buffalo – 3 / 8 Dallas – 4 / 18 Indianapolis – 5 / 25 Baltimore – 6 / 1 New England – 7 / 2 Cincinnati – 8 / 9 Jacksonville – 9 / 6 Tennessee – 10 / 20 Last year, Pittsburgh finished 4th and 5th, Seattle finished 2nd and 4th, Indy finished 3rd and 2nd, and Carolina finished 1st and 6th. The Bears were 1st in Bendability, but 20th in Scoreability. So it looks like these stats are pretty accurate at predicting teams that will go deep into the playoffs. The two best teams based off these stats for this year are the Bears (1,3) and the Ravens (6,1). Interesting to see teams like New Orleans and Philly so low. http://www.coldhardfootballfacts.com/Quality_Standings.php

DROY!!!!!!

Griese looked pretty good...

Let's Go Bears! Get a big lead, and then give some guys time off. The Lions should be playing for Brady Quinn. Some Inactives for the game: Charles Tillman (Ricky Manning Jr. will start in place of Tillman with Hester playing the nickel. ) Leon Joe John Tait (John St. Clair will start in his place.)

He has to ask permission to leave the state, and as long as it is work related, there should not be a problem. Also, I think he has a Jan 7th court date that might clarify some of this.

A little food for the draft a TE in the first round06 crowd...

Haugh must read TalkBears too: http://www.talkbears.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=813 There is definitely a correlation between the production totals. -
Millen has been horrible and should be fired. That team has had so many chances to turn it around and they continually make bad personnel decisions. Maybe they should just draft another 1st Round Wide Receiver. If the fans do this, and it is very noticeable on tv, it will be hilarious.

I think the Bears realize that they need him back with Harris out for the year. I just hope he can straighten himself out.
-
Congrats to the ones selected. I thought Tait, Peanut, Brown, or Anderson had a shot. Romo leads the NFC with a rating of 98.4, with 10 games played, so he should be there since it is a pretty weak NFC QB crop this year.

During the post game interviews they talked to Rex and Desmond. Rex said Desmond was doing a great job of finding the soft spot in the zone and was in great position on the hot route. When asked about what has happened to him in the last couple of weeks, Desmond said that the coaches were having him do other things, and today they made an emphasis on gettin him the ball. The offense looks so much better when they get the TE involved. I think it also makes it harder for the Defense to defend. Do you take away the wideouts, TE, or RBs?
-
YES! THE ROAD TO THE SUPER BOWL GOES THROUGH SOLDIER FIELD! New Orleans or Dallas playing in Chicago in January? That will be fun. Grossman and Clark find their mojo.
-
WHoooo, that was too close. The Defense has been on the field a lot the last couple of games. Home-Field Advantage throughout! GO BEARS!!!!
-
Fumbled snap or hold, or a penalty.
-
Just can't get burnt on the deep pass in this situation.
-
FUCCKKK YEAAHH!!
-
"He flexed his muscles"!!!!
-
New Orleans just lost to the Redskins....so if the Bears win, Home-Field clinched throughout.
-
Benson gets better as the game goes on as well. He still runs hard while the defenses start to get tired. That was a sweet drive after TB got those 2 quick scores. BTW, what is Rex's Passer rating today?
-
3rd Bear TE to have over 100 yds receiving - in history! Dikta, Moorehead, and now Clark. I guess the other thread worked.
-
The Bears Def always lets up around this time. They did it vs MIN and STL.
-
Yeah, thats what you would think. Why make Jones injury worse, especially with a big lead.
-
Whats up with Benson, did he get hurt?
-
Where did he go? He seemed like one of the first options for Grossman early in the season when Grossman was on, but lately he has fallen out of the offense completely. Do you think there is a correlation between Grossman's play and Clark's? Date / Opp / Results - Rec/Yds/TD Sep 10 @ GNB W 26-0 -5/77/0 Sep 17 DET W 34-7 -5/85/1 Sep 24 @ MIN W 19-16 -2/31/0 Oct 1 SEA W 37-6 -3/39/0 Oct 8 BUF W 40-7 -1/12/0 Oct 16 @ ARI W 24-23 -4/61/0 Oct 29 SFO W 41-10 -6/86/2 Nov 5 MIA L 13-31 -3/38/0 Nov 12 @ NYG W 38-20 -1/2/1 Nov 19 @ NYJ W 10-0 -1/2/0 Nov 26 @ NE L 13-17 -2/14/0 Dec 3 MIN W 23-13 -0/0/0 Dec 11 @ STL W 42-27 -2/18/0 Rex's games with a Passer Rating under 85.0: MIN, ARZ, MIA, NE, NYJ, MIN - Clark only had one decent game (ARZ 4-61). In the 7 games where Grossman has played well, Clark had 3 big games (5-77, 5-85-1, and 6-86-2) and scored a TD in a 4th game vs NYG. In the last 5 games Clark has 6 receptions. You would think a QB that is struggling would find his TE more often. Do you think this is related to Clark, Grossman, or the offense as a whole?

The odd thing was his bodyguard who was killed was also at his house (apparently living there) at the time of the other arrest. They found marijuana and the guns, and Posey was charged with possession as well. I am wondering if there was more to that situation which may have led to the shooting. I don't think the Bears will stay with him much longer. He was already not going to play this weekend BEFORE this happened. Having guns is one thing, but being at a place where your friend/bodyguard gets killed is another.
