  1. Just think how Indy felt after Hester's run back. They need to get that feeling back.
  2. 43 yards of offense if you take away the one long run by TJ. The only bright spot is they scored a TD in the Red Zone.
  3. Right now it is bad tackling (probably from being tired) and no rhythm on offense. That miss makes it a FG game.
  4. He is also making it real easy decision for the Bears. Keep Vasher or Keep Tillman?
  5. Bears just ran out on the field, man I am so pumped!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LMAO, Jim Brown the commentator (used lightly), just said that the kickoff between the Colts and Dolphins was an hour away.
  6. I would be surprised if he is 100% though. I don't mind seeing him at 80% vs Berrian or Moose on a wet field. Running on it and playing on it are two different things. I will be surprised if he plays the entire game.
  7. My comp is in the living room, so I will check in throughout the game.
  8. Hester is going to be effective with or without the ball. If they kick it to him, he will get above average returns with the ability to break the big one. If they kick it away from him, the Bears will get good field position anyway. Win - Win. The Bears players just need to watch the holds and blocks in the back on those returns.
  9. Here is mine broken down by phase: Running Game- Bears (The tandem of Jones and Benson seem to be getting stronger every game. Both of them are healthy and will be running on grass. Another aspect of the running game is how effective the Bears WRs and TEs are at run blocking.) Passing Game- Colts (This comes down to the Colts Passing O vs Bears Passing D compared to Bears Passing O vs Colts Passing D. This one might be closer than most people think with Harper hurting.) Pass Rush- Push (I think the Bears rotation on the D-Line will wear the Colts O-Line down in the 2nd half. Remember that the Colts played an extra game this season, so just like in any sports, the players tire easier in late season games.) Run Defense- Bears (The Colts Run D is still the weakness of the unit) Pass Defense- Push (This is a push because of the Colts Passing Offense) Kicking/Punting- Push (Vinatieri has more experience than Gould, but Gould is a Pro Bowler too. Maynard has SB experience and is better than Smith). Return Game - Bears (Hester easily wins over Wilkins, but more because Indy has a horrible coverage team). Coverage - Bears (The Bears have great Special Teamers and the Colts look like they only send 8 guys out on coverage). Cumulative Score: Bears 4-1-3
  10. That Illini game hurt. If they make 1 of those late 3 pt'ers it is a new ballgame. Damn, you had to remind me. A loss will be hard to swallow because something will have went horribly wrong. Either the defense didn't show up (doubtful), Rex throws 4 INTs (doubtful because of the offense), or there are costly fumbles (Bears rarely fumble). The Bears actually match up against the Colts better than most teams, especially on grass in the current conditions (wet field, wind).
  11. There are a few players that are due to show up. Moose - Great blocking throughout the playoffs, but only 4-58 receiving. Clark - Same, great blocking, but only 2-43. Bradley 1-5 yds. Davis did not have a catch vs NO. On defense, Peanut is due for a pick, while Anderson and Brown are due for sacks.
  12. I would also say that Jamal Lewis is one of the most over-rated backs you will find in the league. So stopping him is not that big of a deal. LJ only rushed 13 times. The Bears should have at least 35 rushes. Bob Sanders is not the answer. With Harper hurting or out, if Sanders cheats to the line, the Bears will burn him deep with Berrian, Davis, or Bradley. WOO HOO, just checked the weather for the game. There is supposed to be light rain to rain on and off starting tonight and continuing thru 11pm on Sunday night in the Miami area. Also, gametime winds will be between 13-14 mph. Has anyone tried to run the simulation at Whatifsports.com for the game? I ran it 5 times with various conditions, light rain, light wind, medium wind, 65-70 degrees, and the Bears won every time. Just ran it 5 more times, Bears win every time.
  13. They obviously have something against the Bears, which is fine by me because with every wrong prediction they lose more credibility (except Irvin since all his is gone).
  14. Man they were offsides. Freakin refs!
  15. So the other 2 receptions total 67 yards? Also, no catches for Davis, Jones, or Benson?
  16. You have to take numbers into consideration. I would say: Manning = Brees Wayne > Colston Harrison > Henderson/Copper Rhodes Addai These offenses are very similar, and based off numbers the Saints Defense was better as well.
  17. Hopefully there will be play by play.
