  1. I may be in the minority here, but Fangio is so freakin overrated. Week after week the Bears continue to get embarrassed with plays like that where there's no defender within 15-20 yards of a receiver. It's already happened twice in one game tonight. They also apparently don't coach DB's to turn their heads around to find the ball while it's in the air. It literally never happens. You could seriously just throw the ball deep on every play against the Bears and probably get a dozen PI calls during the course of a game.
  2. The Bears are REAALLLY great at boosting GB's interception stats. It feels like they've accounted for nearly a quarter of GB's INT's over the last 10 years.
  3. Trevathon just killed Davante Adams. Bears commit yet another dumb penalty on a 3rd down, so the Packers are about to go up 28-7. This game has been excruciatingly painful.
  4. I saw that missed FG from a mile away. Barth's accuracy beyond 40 yards is awful.
  5. Mike Glennon is the worst quarterback in Bears history.
  6. Cutler leaves and we still are getting embarrassed by the Packers. Glennon is the worst quarterback in the NFL, and Cody Whitehair might be the worst center. How many issues has he had with snapping the ball since pre-season? Atrocious.
  7. I have never seen a quarterback with worse pocket presence in all my years watching football.
  8. Garbage defense to start the game. Got manhandled by a bad offensive line.
  9. Pace's first two draft picks have the worst injury luck in the history of injuries.
  10. Defense played well, but we need more from the pass rush—specifically from Floyd. We're 3 weeks into he year and he's still without a sack. For all that perceived improvement we saw from him in training camp, he hasn't shown it during the regular season yet. I think he may just be a complimentary pass rushing specialist, rather than a bonafide stud like a Von Miller/Vic Beasley type, and that would suck. Prove me wrong, Floyd.
  11. That's a game ending TD by Tarik Cohen. freak this officiating. Bears win!
  12. Oh my god, if they rule him out of bounds I'm going to freak.
  13. If Trubisky is worse than this, Pace should be fired.
  14. Haven't seen the replay, but I'm going to guess another awful call by the officiating to ruin Cohen's punt return that would have put the Bears in great position to score. Instead, they get the ball at their own 9.
  15. It's so frustrating watching the season slip away because of an idiotic, stubborn coach refusing to play his best quarterback.
  16. The Bears are trying to win this game by not throwing any passes. And it's going to fail. Wouldn't be surprised if they lose by double digits unless the defense can create more takeaways. 54 passing yards on the day for Mike Glennon. We are in the 4th quarter.
  17. That TD courtesy of NFL officiating. That Cooper play and the missed FG is going to cost the Bears this game.
  18. Awful review. Not even close to a fumble.
  19. They don't even deserve a saftey out of that. God, this team is a freakin embarrassment. I can't believe that just happened.
  20. Marcus Cooper should be cut at halftime. Probably just blew the game for the Bears.
  21. An adequate QB and this is at least a two score game after 1 quarter.
  22. Somebody really needs to ask John Fox how and why he thinks Mike Glennon gives them the best chance to win. Trubisky can make plays on the field that Glennon simply can't, where as, there isn't anything Mike Glennon does that Trubisky can't. He'll make mistakes, but if he offers you more tools to succeed, that is, by definition, someone giving you a better chance to win. To me, this whole waiting period is just a gigantic waste of time. We already know Mike Glennon's shelf life as a starter will only last a maximum of 16 games anyways. He's gone after the year, so why are the Bears worried about developing him at all? It makes no sense. The other side to this whole thing is that the longer the Bears wait to see Trubisky, the less we'll know about him come next year's draft when it looks to be heavy on quarterbacks. The nightmare scenario is that we don't get to see enough of Trubisky to know if passing on one of these QB's is a good idea. And then, next year, Trubisky starts and is actually awful.
  23. Can you imagine how bad things would be if the Bears didn't draft a quarterback right now? Think about having to endure a full season of Glennon and Sanchez.
  24. I would be surprised if Long plays next week, since there is a Thursday night game coming up right after that. Not sure it would be the best thing for his health to come back and immediately play two NFL games in less than two weeks.
  25. Maybe. In Trestman's case, though, the team didn't start to unravel until midway through his second season. This is John Fox's 3rd year as head coach, and in each one of his 3 seasons, the Bears have started out 0-2. That hasn't happened in 50 years in Bears history. The first year was supposed to be bad, but they've been going backwards ever since. After next week's loss, they're essentially going to eliminate themselves from playoff contention before the 4th game of the season for the second year in a row. That's not acceptable. I don't know if he can survive another 14 games like this.
