  1. The Bears won't fire any coordinators during the season, that almost never happens unless the coach that fires the coordinator takes over the play calling duties because he's familiar with that specific side of the ball. Lovie is a defensive guy so that makes the firing of Martz during the season even less likely. However, if at the end of the year the offense doesn't progress or we miss the playoffs, I could see the Bears just letting Martz walk. I never liked the hiring to begin with and now we are faced potentially in a difficult situation. Are we ruining Cutler's prime years if we bring in yet another OC? He had Jeremy Bates for 2 years, Ron Turner for 1, and then Mike Martz for 2 years. This offense, more than anything needs a West Coast Style to it. I'd be all for Jeremy Bates again if he'd be willing to come here since Jay is already familiar with his scheme but he already turned us down two years ago so we'll see.. If you look at all the great quarterbacks around the league you'll notice that they always have the same coordinator with them throughout the years or the stick with the same scheme. I think it's clear that the Martz scheme doesn't work here because we don't have the talent on the offensive line or WR position.
  2. The guy we are missing, other than a true #1 is Earl Bennett. He was Jay's guy on 3rd downs and whenever we needed a big play in the passing game. Earl Bennett is far and away, the best receiver on this team. Having him out really hurts. I am so sick of our receivers, almost as much as our offensive line-- we have to do something about it. Randy Moss is out there and has said that he would be interested in returning to the right team at the right price. Just sayin..

Sign his ass now! Roy Williams and Johnny Knox are not the answer at #1. Moss will atleast go up and get it when he's in the game and make adjustments on balls that Roy Williams doesn't. I'm sick of this receiving core, we have to do something.
  4. It still had nothing to do with the play, the guy he apparently held ran the other way. Shit like that should be let go and that call could have changed the game completely. I'm still hot over it.

If we lose to Carolina and then to Detroit, we might as well just fold the tent and start aligning ourselves some better draft position. I'd like to think this Bears team will have enough sense of urgency to really start stringing together a couple of W's because we are already 3 games behind both Detroit and GB in the standings. We can't afford to lose too many more games this early in the season.
  6. I called that failure from the start. I hated the Olsen trade and still do. Mike Martz won't be with this team next year if we miss the playoffs or the offense doesn't drastically improve.

Looks like we could go 2-2 in those next 4. We should definitely beat Carolina and Minnesota but Detroit is already better than we are and we play Tampa in foreign territory.
  8. This has been one of the worst officiated games of the season. We honestly could have had a chance at the onside kick but the referees decided to freak us over again by calling a hold on Graham when he wasn't near anybody. Such bull shit.
  9. Are you kidding me? Where the freak is the hold?
  10. A 4th and 5 and we are going to Johnny Knox? LOL WUT?
  11. What a freakin dumbass. Only the Bears can go 35 yards back after a brilliant play by Urlacher. I hate this offense so much.
  12. And Omiyale with the usual drive killing false start followed by the wasted timeout that kills the Bears in almost every game. Can we not get the play in ever?
  13. Please dear God, land us Justin Blackmon next year I can't take this offense anymore.
  14. The Packers are just a way better team, sad to say. I can't say anything bad about them. I'm starting to believe that we may very well be the 3rd best team in this division. Until we draft better on the offensive side of the ball, we will never be a consistent contender in the NFC. We had alot of things fall our way last year.
  15. Superstar Johnny Knox. freakin cut this bumb. I can't stand him.
  16. Enough with the Wildcat, it doesn't work and it never will.
  17. lol? How is that not pass interference?
  18. No. Cutler threw a horrible pass.
  19. HAHA 3 Drives -15 yards! AWESOME. Maybe it wouldn't be a bad thing to be drafting in the top 10 next year so we can draft an NFL talent at WR like Justin Blackmon. It's a crime what they are doing to Cutler out there. No offensive line and 5'8 WR's and TE's that can't catch the ball if it was handed to them on a silver platter.
  20. Ryan Grant has the easiest job out there. I don't think he's been stopped for anything less than 10 yards today.
  21. So in two drives the Bears have managed -5 yards. Unbelievable. Packers are bound to put up more points here with the gift wrapped field position we've handed to them.
  22. Is it just me or do we look awkward when we hand the ball off? Why is forte so close to Cutler? He should be getting a head start before he takes the hand off. The way they are doing it, he has to basically come to a complete stop just to field the ball.
  23. What a pathetic start to the half. THAT'S what we traded Greg Olsen for? LMAO. Kellen Davis is garbage.
  24. Need a big drive to start the 2nd half and we can get back in it. Defense must shut the Packers offense down!
  25. We needed a touchdown on that drive. Our redzone offense has suffered since Greg Olsen left and we don't have Barber to run the ball..
