Guys I think we could be closer to Crabtree than you think. Teams are going to "Willis McGahee" him and he may fall into the draft. I still think we'd have to trade up to get him but I don't think he's a top 10 pick anymore.

Lol I thought this was going to be about Jerry Rice when I first saw the thread.

I was ticked when I saw the Super Bowl on NBC because Al and John are so bad and that stupid Faith Hill song at the beginning of each game is about as annoying as the dude who sings the MNF one.. I would have preferred either FOX or CBS do the telecast.

Kurt Warner is a great quarterback with the right system. He would suck in Chicago where they favor the run over the pass + we have nobody on the receiving corp. He should stay in Arizona for another year or two and see if he can make another run at the Super Bowl- he should have gotten another ring tonight.

It was clearly a forward pass. His elbow was moving forward. For that not to even get looked at was B.S. I thought alot of the personal foul calls on the Cardinals were very questionable, especially the roughing the passer. The last 8 minutes were amazing, the rest of the game was kinda blah but It saddens me to watch a game filled with so many questions that always seemed to favor Pittsburgh.

My thoughts are that Arizona got hosed by the refs and deserved to win the game. What a crappy way to end on a blown call too. Fitzgerald is amazing! Too bad the wrong team won...

We don't need a corner in round 1, we need a WR!

I think the thread title is a bit misleading.

Makes sense. I didn't really want him either.. Too old for the Bears. We need a stud receiver that has a lot of good years left in him. Chad Johnson is the best guy we could get, that is if Cinncy decides to deal him. The Bears are more likely to go in with the same or similar receivers they had this year against next season than go after some high priced guys like Chad Johnson or Anquan Boldin.

THE BEARS FEEL GOOD ABOUT EVERYBODY! Lovie has taught them welll.... puke!

Mark Sanchez will not have a career in the NFL as a starter, you can bet on that! I would not draft him in the 1st 2 or 3 rounds of the draft.

Receiver #1. He has a bigger YPC than the other guy and maybe the 2 less TD's aren't much of a difference, it could go either way. Is #1 Desean Jackson? That would be my guess.

I would gladly take DHB!

I think it would be kinda cool actually..

Hmm I'd have to look at it again, at first glance it looked like helmet to helmet cuz he launched himself in there head first.

Unfortunately, he's staying in school another year....

It was helmet to helmet and the player should be fined.

I really don't even think JA goes to meet the guy before he offers the contract.. I just don't see him making a huge splash in FA. I wish we could get either Boldin or Peppers but neither looks like it'll happen atm I'm afraid..

Yeah I agree somewhat. I would have felt a little less comfortable with him being the DC cuz he's never done it before but now that he is back at his DL coaching job, I have no problem with him at all. He's the best in the league at what he does and the Bears will thrive off of it. I might go back to the training camp just to see this "30 minutes of Hell" workout that he has planned .

That article gets my blood flowing! I think he is going to be great for our line. Mark Anderson's career might not be over after all!

We can probably forget about Peppers. It sounds like he wants to play in a 3-4 defense and were a 4-3. He'll probably end up with Baltimore or Dallas, one of the two next season. We should just give him whatever money we can and hope he takes the bait

I'd love to have him but I don't see the Bears ownership forking over the coin that he wants.. Marinelli would turn Harris and Peppers into the next Sapp and Rice! Signing him basically eliminates any other moves, and we need some major help on offense like WIDE RECEIVER. The dream scenario would be to sign Peppers and get Maclin in the 1st round and get a dynamic running back to tag along with Forte. Someone to be the dash to Forte's smash!

I'd bring him in as a backup and have him battle it out with Orton but I'm pretty confident Orton would win out.. Leftwich is an OKAY Quarterback but I don't think he can do anything that Orton can't.

JOHN GRUDEN GOT FIRED?!?! Where have I been? Holy cow.

Jake Delhommo is the most overrated player in football. BearSox explains why..
