The guy has an arthritic back playing in the National Football League, as if playing the game wasn't hard enough, I can't imagine the pain he has endured with a bad back and neck. Its obvious his play has slipped and he isn't the same player he used to be but he's still Brian Urlacher.

Its because he isn't running behind this offensive line..

Rex isn't a very accurate quarterback, and he's even worse when pressured. The Titans will stack 8-9 men in the box all game long next week and force Rex to beat them.

Alot of it is confidence and Hester has none right now. He doesn't run hard anymore, its all stutter stepping hoping a hole would open up for him, either that or he's playing not to fumble.. I've been really dissapointing in Hester's performance this year, he actually looks like the worst return man in the league, never thought I'd say that.. Next year were going to have to get Ayanbedejo back somehow cuz I'm all outta ideas to how this kid can perform at a high level again.

Rex's strength is his play action passing. That's why its essential for Forte to have a huge game versus the Titans. If he gets a few nice runs early, it opens up the play action game where Rex thrives. Those deep balls he overthrew today will turn into big plays next week considering he will shake off the rust and get the 1st team snaps in practice this week.

Chris Mortenson just reported "High Ankle Sprain" MRI and possibly Cat Scan set for tomorrow, Grossman to start for sure against Titans. Since Mortenson reported it, its pretty much set in stone. So not the best news for Bears fans, but it could be worse, he could be out for the season. Its unfortunate that it comes at a tough stretch here for the Bears in these next 4 games. I'll be happy with a 2-2 run before Kyle returns. With him not under center, we'll probably lose for sure versus Tennessee. The only way we win that game is, Forte runs for 120+ and Grossman protects the ball.

Rex did nothing today. Forte carried the offense when Orton went down. Rex threw for like 60 yards on 19 pass attempts with a rating under 50; thats atrocious. He did have two TD's though but Forte got him into those situations. We need Orton to stand a real chance at making the playoffs. If he's out for more than 3 weeks, were in trouble.

Yeah, not buying it yet, but its a possibility

I wouldn't bet him playing next week either, knowing that the best defensive line in football is coming to play. I'd like to see him get some reps in on special teams atleast at some point to get him used to real contact in a game.

He's the goofy guy you see on Bears Postgame Live interviewing players. His nickname is Billy Jack but his actual name is William Jackson. He also does the Sports Nite shows on ocassion.

So it sounds like he may be ready next Sunday or maybe a week or two, which is definitely better than what I had thought! Rashied Davis said Kyles spirits were high after the game and was joking around so thats another good sign!

WOOO Great news Bears fans!! Billy Jack just said that his injury is not season ended and its not broken so thats awesome news!
