Week 3 Game Thread

Again the mystery D bails out the Bears.

When DLine gets pressure our defense is great, when it doesn't, we look bad and the Vomit-2 gets exposed.

The Bears are going to have to get creative running the ball. I don't trust Cutler throwing the ball 40 times in this game. Need more end arounds, read options, sprint draw plays to keep the Jets on their heels.

He looks lost without Marshall too

They're also using Forte too much as a blocker. He is too good of a weapon to not be getting more passed dumped off to him.

Really sick of the play not to lose philosophy. .

The one TD he did throw he wasn't even standing on the ground. Mid air throw.

Was it or was it not a great throw? And I mean a world class great throw...

They should be using Forte as more a receiver. Screens anyone? Perhaps play action. Especially with all the weird blitz packages that Rec is using.

Yep. The Jets D is allowing those throws underneath. I don't think Forte plays with much decisiveness. These quick, physical defensive lines are a bad matchup for him. Every time he and Bennett touch the ball, I think they're going to fumble.

Sure...one great throw. Or was it luck? In the midst of a lot of garbage throws.

More often than not when he throws like that he throws short or off target .

I also really don't get the Jeffery end arounds with an ailing hamstring, even if that did turn out well.

Surprised there wasn't a flag on that TD.. like there is on every other TD..

Great way to come out of the half! That end around to Alshon was the exact right play needed to get the Jets on their heels a bit. Need to see more of it.

Again, I don't know what adjustments were made, but we had the defense on their heels the entire drive. We scored 2 TDs on that drive, and Forte almost had a huge gain if not for that shoelace tackle.

This is a huge series for the defense coming up. We got the momentum back, and we need a quick stop and put their defense back out there. They were blitzing a lot so they are gonna be winded.

Yeah, have Holmes do that.

They finally started to let him not just block. Forte is dangerous with the ball. They are blitzing or starting showing it, so he isn't going to have much room to run, but he can be Faulk like if they let him not just block just in case.

I want to know if the Bears are the most injured team in the league at the end of this game. They've got to be close.
