Football information I respect

Featured Replies

There are tons of info out there about football, Bears, draftees.

These are some of the sites I respect/or like for better or for worse.

Draft Countdown- player rankings

Watlers football- general information

Matt Mller/BR -general knowledge and rankings

Over the Cap- salary info

PFF- stats

PFT- always seems to be first with football breaking news

Draft breakdown-tape of players

GBND-player rankings, general info

Our Lads- scouts take on draftee valves

Here is the latest draft projection for GBND

1-Shelton/DE/Wash

2-Kikaha/OLB/Wash(didnt realize he played with Shelton

3-Harris/FS/Virgina

I could live with that draft with anticipation.

Mock drafts are a crapshoot. Hardly anyone will ever nail it down. Even when the draft is done its a crapshoot because every team that had a first round (sometimes second) HOPE their player is able to produce that year. 100% of the time that doesn't happen.

Just to illustrate the disparity. This most recent NFL.com mock (below) has four analysts all picking different from each other. Only one continues to pick Shelton at 7. Two say Beasly. Heck just a few weeks ago Bucky Brooks was saying Shaq Thompson was the pick at 7. Not anymore:

Your right about that , I have a tendency to view how they rank the player board more than the mock.

Nice post summarizing some good resources. I'll add that among all the available player draft profiles I like the ones I find on http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/prospec...rch?position=OT best.
