Where's my buddy connerbear. He's going to be all heartbroken lol. Figures the 1 game I saw in person of Barth was the best game of his career. Funny how that works out

We probably did see his best game but they get paid to make kicks with the game on the line and he failed. It's good they finally made the change.

Peace :bringit

Bears K 2017 cap spending.

Conner Barth. 989,000. dead

Carlos Santos. 690,000

Robbie Could 600,000 dead

Robert Aguyo 428,000 dead

Total:2707000

Still not terrible money wise, puts them around 10th for K contracts this season. Terrible for production wise, hopefully Santos will put a patch on that.

That does not look to good when grading Pace at the end of the year.

I think you mean 2017 cap spending.

Good catch! I will have to fix that.

I really don't how much they spent on kicker this year as long as they continue to work to fix the problem.

I questioned the arguayo move from the get go and it had everything to do with picking up his guaranteed money instead of just waiting til he was cut to bring him for a tryout. Overall I don't worry about it because it's not like we are hurting financially

None of that matters when Glennon, Sims, Wheaton, and Cooper are on the roster totaling $30 million on this year's cap.

Hopefully Santos works out, very accurate inside 50. As long as he is healthy, he is an instant upgrade over Barth and comparable to Gould (but cheaper).

That looks horrible in my opinion.

Agreed. He's got his fair share of blunders... I'd like to still think his positives are outweighing his negatives. We will see.
