October 22, 20205 yr comment_181756 Buffalo released veteran OG Quinton Spain. He excels at protecting the QB (allowed ZERO sacks in 2019) Struggles in run blocking. Being the Offense leans towards the pass, and few OGs are strong in both the run & pass, would it be worth it for the Bears to consider this guy? He's young. A veteran with experience. I say yes. October 22, 20205 yr comment_181757 He has big question marks. Also, we need to run. Why would they release someone with such a low contract that has starting experience? Buyer beware. I would definitely do my homework on this one. Report
October 22, 20205 yr comment_181762 He lost his starting job and they weren't going to pay him that much to be a backup. For the league minimum, there is no way he is worse than Coward. Report
October 22, 20205 yr comment_181763 I misread the article and thought he only made 1.5 mil. Now that I see the contract, I get it. Yes, give him a look. Report

I am 100% on board with taking a flyer on him and this team needs to make a heavy investment in oline this off-season. It sounds like this was more of an internal matter vs. performance based as well. Castillo should have the intelligence and Bears definitely have cap space for this year. Report

Corradelle has been doing this a few times this year. Tried suggesting Bridgewater, Stefon Diggs and even Brady think about joining the Bears during the beginning of the season. And more recently unsuccessfully lobbied for "Snacks" Harrison. Encouraging that he's at least trying. I'm curious why aren't we seeing players like Bars, Mustipher and Spriggs step up? I can only guess Spriggs' more recent injury history is an issue but he has played both Guard and Tackle earlier in his career. Bars and Mustipher were bright prospects on the PS last year.... Report
October 25, 20205 yr comment_181784 Speaking of OL; the right tackle from Minnesota is the largest football player I've ever seen. And he moves well. 6'9 400# He's a junior. Great! He didn't play. Looks like a covid19 opt out. Edited October 25, 20205 yr by Mongo3451 Report
