Fuller is playing well enough to be wanted by someone but doubt your getting anything better than a third for him with his salary. The problem is every team has to deal with the loss of cap space and only a few that can weather it very well, so just a few times would be capable of trading for him. Colts and NE are two with the highest cap space , so maybe the Colts but NE gets rid of expensive players , not trade for them. The rest are bad teams that are not in the position to be ready to do that kind of move.

Right, for all the players that teams will have to cut, there will be a lot of players available for cheaper deals too. Probably lots of short term deals, which is good for an organization that needs to field a team, but doesnt want to be tied long term to those contracts - from the point of view of the new GM coming in 2021 or 2022

What do they do with Robinson and how do they clear space for him?

They can get it done by restructuring contracts and cutting dead weight.  They also can use the tag.

I hope they find a way but think it will be hard to sign AROB . Starting out with 2 mil in the hole and only 35 players under contract, its going to hard to sign a 18-20 mil WR. I can see them do something stupid and draft a first round WR and let AROB leave. The 2 easy cuts are Hicks and Graham that saves us 18.5 mil. in cap space and I wouldnt like to see Hicks go. Foles cost us 12.5 to let him go so he will be our backup QB. We would have to sign MT or another vet. OR draft a first round pick at QB. We have lots of issues to over come to get close to trying to sign AROB

The tag still counts against the cap, so they would have to get really creative with a deal for him and restructure a ton of other deals.

If we can not sign AROB I think they will look for a WR in the first round to replace him. That moves the OT draftee to the second round. QB to the third round, which is risky to get a high level guy at either position. I dont want Pace being in charge of drafting a new QB. I think we are just in such a bad place( covid effects) and ( cap restrains ) , we have another year of 8-8 coming next year. If Phillips (ass. GM) signs as a GM somewhere, we get 2 comp. 3rd picks for the next two years. If AROB signs some where else, we get a comp 3rd for him. So we could have 2 extra 3rd round picks. Pace does a good job of identifying talent at the lower rounds, so maybe that works out for us. I think next year will be MT-Foles- draft pick at QB. The defense a year older with some studs being let go. 8-8 might be to much to wish for.
