Bears at Vikings Week 18 Official Game Thread

Bears at Vikings, no Fields. Both teams playing for pride?

It would be such a Bear thing to do, so Bears 23-17.

Nagy's offense in a nutshell.  4th and 5 with the Vikings bringing 6.  Circled in red are the available targets.  Circled in white, and the most damning, is the entire offense.  No hot read and no release target.  Totally inept.

Nagy's route concepts are hot garbage. A monkey could design better routes. Half the time there are no hots or multiple receivers in the same area which makes it easier to cover.

Yeah, blitz all you want.  We won't make you pay...

Something else.  Daniels even pointed out the protection and Montgomery inexplicably dives at the feet of DL that were being blocked.

Johnson letting a rookie WR get 40 yards then watch Jackson tackle him.

It looks like he thought it was a penalty and push off. Really odd for him to just give up on the play when the WR caught the ball inbounds without being touched.

Yeah that was not good. The defense on the catch was actually good - just a good throw by Cousins but the non touch was not good. Glad Jackson was paying attention.

And on 4th and 1 on the one Nagy calls a pass play that nets -10 yards.  THAT sh*t is why he needs to be fired.

Both pics, same play.  I think that was on Dalton.  But, in agreeing with you, he should have not had a choice.  Run the damn ball!

Dalton has taken 3 4th Down sacks in scoring territory. So to those who think Dalton is better than Fields because he doesn't take sacks, Fields would at least have a chance to escape. My God that was bad. This offense is still terrible.

You got Montgomery and if you run and don't make it at least you keep them pinned near goal line.

Nagy brings TEs and WRs into the box from the outside which adds a defender, then runs right at that extra guy. Why not spread it out and make them choose between the box and coverage? All Monty needs is a little space.

Funny… my wife said “who’s that #81, he’s wide open” during that play.  Agree that Andy should’ve seen that but never been in that position.  If anything let him redeem himself and try to sneak it in.

BTW Jenkins is in at LT and he is looking pretty good. He plays to the whistle every play even when the ball is not near him.

Annnnddd…. Jackson playing like we expect him to play.  Stood there and watched while Jefferson catches a huge TD.

The defensive backfield needs an enema.

This is why I don't want Eddie Jackson anywhere near this team next year. Take the dead money and be done with this bum:

I’m honestly surprised Cousins hasn’t been intercepted more this year.  Hes thrown about 3 passes today that were pretty much fluttering ducks and should’ve been picks.

Gotta love how the whole defensive backfield was standing around looking at each other while Osborn catches a TD and Jefferson was wide open on the other side.

5 DBs in a circle jerk covering neither WR. Unbelievable. However, an epic collapse and loss is totally a Nagy thing. One team made halftime adjusts and it wasn't the Bears.
