January 9, 20224 yr comment_187978 Bears at Vikings, no Fields. Both teams playing for pride? It would be such a Bear thing to do, so Bears 23-17. Report
January 9, 20224 yr comment_187979 Your first ever week 18 game thread. Go Bears! Blackson with a series ending sack. Nice. Report
January 9, 20224 yr comment_187980 Followed by Minnesota with their own series ending sack. Not nice. Report
January 9, 20224 yr comment_187981 Nagy's offense in a nutshell. 4th and 5 with the Vikings bringing 6. Circled in red are the available targets. Circled in white, and the most damning, is the entire offense. No hot read and no release target. Totally inept. Report

Half the time there are no hots or multiple receivers in the same area which makes it easier to cover. Report

Daniels even pointed out the protection and Montgomery inexplicably dives at the feet of DL that were being blocked. Report
January 9, 20224 yr comment_187985 That look on Monty's face said it all on the most recent failed 4th down attempt. Report
January 9, 20224 yr comment_187987 Johnson letting a rookie WR get 40 yards then watch Jackson tackle him. Report
January 9, 20224 yr Author comment_187988 Mooney hit 1K receiving yards, not bad for a 2nd year player who is a 5th round pick. Report

It looks like he thought it was a penalty and push off. Really odd for him to just give up on the play when the WR caught the ball inbounds without being touched. Report

The defense on the catch was actually good - just a good throw by Cousins but the non touch was not good. Glad Jackson was paying attention. Report
January 9, 20224 yr comment_187992 And on 4th and 1 on the one Nagy calls a pass play that nets -10 yards. THAT sh*t is why he needs to be fired. Report
January 9, 20224 yr comment_187993 Quinn adds another notch to his belt. 19 sacks on the season. Report

Both pics, same play. I think that was on Dalton. But, in agreeing with you, he should have not had a choice. Run the damn ball! Report
January 9, 20224 yr Author comment_187996 Dalton has taken 3 4th Down sacks in scoring territory. So to those who think Dalton is better than Fields because he doesn't take sacks, Fields would at least have a chance to escape. My God that was bad. This offense is still terrible. Report

Nagy brings TEs and WRs into the box from the outside which adds a defender, then runs right at that extra guy. Why not spread it out and make them choose between the box and coverage? All Monty needs is a little space. Report

Funny… my wife said “who’s that #81, he’s wide open” during that play. Agree that Andy should’ve seen that but never been in that position. If anything let him redeem himself and try to sneak it in. January 9, 20224 yr Author comment_188000 BTW Jenkins is in at LT and he is looking pretty good. He plays to the whistle every play even when the ball is not near him. Report
January 9, 20224 yr comment_188002 Annnnddd…. Jackson playing like we expect him to play. Stood there and watched while Jefferson catches a huge TD. The defensive backfield needs an enema. Report
January 9, 20224 yr Author comment_188003 This is why I don't want Eddie Jackson anywhere near this team next year. Take the dead money and be done with this bum: Report
January 9, 20224 yr comment_188004 I’m honestly surprised Cousins hasn’t been intercepted more this year. Hes thrown about 3 passes today that were pretty much fluttering ducks and should’ve been picks. Report
January 9, 20224 yr comment_188005 Gotta love how the whole defensive backfield was standing around looking at each other while Osborn catches a TD and Jefferson was wide open on the other side. Report

Unbelievable. However, an epic collapse and loss is totally a Nagy thing. One team made halftime adjusts and it wasn't the Bears. Report
