Armstead coming to Bears. ( reported a fake account)

According to Ian Rapport reports. If true eladed and skeptical at the same time. Paying big money for a player that doesn't stay on the field enough.

I just seen it reported, that info comes from a fake account of Rapport.

I almost fell for the same fake acct.  (no blue check).  Dang Twitter and my old brain.  The fact he’s lasted this long through FA should be a clue; too much money or other issues. Still think La’el Collins should be considered and may have similar concerns.

It looks like it comes down to NO, MIA, and CHI.

I think we have on offer for a LT, it may not be Armstead, we offered more money to Brian Allen than the Rams did. I think it may be Eric Fisher.

He signed with miami for 87.5 million. We were never in that race IMO

Seems he got 5/$75mil with incentives up to $87.5mil.  How much those incentives are likely to be earned?   We'll have to wait for details but I'd guess he can easily reach $80mil.  We don't need to take that risk for what likely amounts to $17.5mil/yr for a guy who is going to be 31.   There's no reason to think his injury issues will get better with more money and more age.
