CAR is 6th right now according to Tankathon, so a loss would keep them in the bottom 5 and the Bears with a 2nd rounder between 33-38. If both teams sort of stay where they are right now, the Bears would have a pick between 15-22, then the Panthers pick between 33-38, then their own 2nd between 47-54. So 3 picks in the top 55, need 2x on the OLine and one on the DL. The Edge position looks solid with Sweat, Taylor, and Booker. Dexter had another sack, and if Billings can stay at the current level, the DLine is surprisingly good. Report

Any team can beat any team in the NFL, many examples of that. The goal is to win and I dojnt care if its pretty or not. Carolina is not a good team but they are capable of beating us. The Bears basically have the edge in 18 of 22 positions. The 4 spots the Panthers have the edge are on the O-Line (go figure). So if those 4 spots are more important than the other 18, the Bears will have to move to Milwaukee. This should be a 41-19 game but it probably wont. They won a game and only lost by 10 to Cincy. They have a good OL, can run the ball and Dalton is not terrible. they have only 1 TO in the last 2 games. So if we win , even by 3 points, lots of people will be saying what a terrible team we have. I dont care if we win 17-16, with a rookie QB and if he has a couple TOs, it could be close. Report

I thought this was crazy in PIT. During the Steelers press conference, Fields literally said he will not change the play at the LOS. WOW. Quote "It just depends on the play call, but yeah, if we have a run play call, then we are going to stick with that play call. One thing I’m not gonna do, you know our offense doesn’t roll like that. I put my full trust in Arthur to get us in the right place at the right time,” Fields said on Thursday. That is why Daniels is having some early success being super efficient using a college-style offense. However, the defense always adjusts. Look at Kyler and Kingsbury in AZ. It looked amazing for about a year and a half, but fell off so bad they fired Kingsbury. Same with Chip Kelly in PHI. Kelly got 2 years, then got fired in season in his 3rd. The best option is to mix it up IMO. Report

With whoever you want to blame for the rough start, CW is the key to the mistakes and will be the key to future wins. As much as the OL has played bad, the Panthers has 3 first round picks on the OL and they are a bad team. However a GM wants to build a winner, its about the complete picture not the individual position groups. Report
