I’d call the Rams and offer a 4th, whatever salary split makes sense, and see how bad they want to dump him.

No 4th this year, but worth a call to see.  They need a slot WR to replace Allen.

I don’t mind checking - but I’m not offering a 4th. Rams have to cut him so I’d wait for that but be willing to offer a 5th or 6th or say a conditional 6th.  
 

I do think Cupp would be a good fit as an Allen replacement. 

Wait for him to be cut.   He’d be a decent replacement for Allen and probably at a cheaper price.  I still prefer to spend money on the trenches first.  

Allen had us moments last year but overall wasn't worth giving up a fourth and big money. We don't need to repeat that mistake.

Is there any WRs that have ties to our coaching staff? Tim Patrick was with Ben last year and won't cost a lot of money. Haven't checked out the other ties yet
