Best Available Day 3

Featured Replies

Best available for today:

RB - Skattebo (76), Sampson (75), Neal, Giddens, Martinez, Tuten
IOL - Mbow (74), Frazier
DT - Farmer (76), Robinson (74), Pegues, Walker
Edge - Swinson (75), Sawyer, Ingram-Dawkins
LB - Paul, Stutsman, Simon
CB - Riley (74), Frazier
S - Bowman, Reed, Ransom

(ESPN Grades)

The Bears have the 7th pick, in Round 4. I hope Sanders and a few WRs go before the Bears pick, which would give them the best possible pick at 109. There are at least 7 players rated in the top 100 (bold).

If Turner is considered a DT, then DT is probably out, so RB or Edge? Skattebo, Sampson, or Swinson?

Swinson is ranked 47th on PFF's Big Board, Skattebo is 51st, Sampson is 55th, and Mbow is 84th. Those are the 4 guys that are highly rated on multiple sites. Sawyer, Paul, and Ransom are the next tier.

Swinson or Skattebo/Sampson would make sense.

Bears trade with Bills again?

I hope the Bears got the Bills 4th AND 2x 5th's, otherwise they keep losing value.

Crazy how intertwined the drafts of these two teams are this year.

I don't like that trade, no matter what trade chart you use, the Bears lost a 6th rounder worth of capital to move back 23 spots in the 4th to pick up a super late 5th.

JJ Chart
109 = 76pts

132 = 40pts
169 = 23.8 pts (63.8 total)

Equivalent to a mid-6th rounder in value/

Using the Rich Hill chart, the Bears lost a late 6th early 7th rounder of value.

Unless there is something from next year's draft we haven't yet seen but yeah this doesn't seem good for us.

Nope, it was straight up 109 for 132 and 169. The Bills had 4x picks between 169 and 177, so Poles got fleeced here. Poles should've gotten at least 206 (late 6th) too.

Too much of a drop-off after 120.

12 picks left, still a few solid guys left:

RB - Sampson (75), Neal, Giddens, Martinez
IOL - Mbow (74), Frazier
DT - Farmer (76), Pegues
Edge - Swinson (75), Sawyer, Ingram-Dawkins
LB - Paul
CB - Riley (74), Frazier
S - Reed, Ransom

Ransom, Safety goes at 122. Reed is last Safety with a chance to play. Sampson and Swinson still available.

Seems like when the Giants took Skatebo, then we wanted to trade back.

What were they thinking.  Now Jack Sawyer gone.

What is up with Shadeur Sanders? He is being black balled by every team.

Yeah, Skattebo or Tuten probably. Now we have to pray that Swinson or Sampson are still there at 132, but unlikely.

Word out of interviews was he was one of the worst, if not the worst they have ever witnessed, all the while he was dictating what the clubs would do for him. Basically a double negative for a guy that was pampered by his dad for his entire college career.

They target players they may want. Do not sit on Brashard Smith or Jayden Blue. I would like Damien Martinez.

I think they don't want a distraction with all the Sanders show he will bring for a backup QB.

Yeah, a few of them should be there if they want one.
