Here we go, the first dress rehearsal for the new regime.

I will be watching to see how the young bucks looks, and how the communication is with the new staff. Hoping for a cleaner game with minimal pre-snap penalties, and no major injuries. 

We will see if the physicality carries over from the joint practices, or if Miami comes out with some payback in mind.

Bears by 20. 

It’s preseason 4th and goal Bears make the stop and the whole stadium goes nuts.  Football is back!

All the training camp reports say the offense is supposed to be complex with lots of presnap motion.  So far this looks pretty basic.  And bad. 

Lots of players we can watch, looking for standouts, so far Sewell making plays. Preseason matters for depth, the rest is inmaterial.

Keep in mind that it's our 2nd stringers vs the Dolphins starters. In that case all you can look for is individual performances and flashes.

I did hope to see Bagent look better than he did in the first quarter.

Jones got beat a few times at LT.

And I think these games are pretty vanilla for scheme etc on offense - but we are getting a view of the more man calls from Allen. But nothing exotic - saving that for the Vikings!

Kyle can  carry a load if needed, frontline starters would make him look better. 

Monangai and Sewell have really stood out so far today.

I’m not seeing early pressure up the middle.  Therefore I’m giving Oline the early kudos.

Newman and Benedet have looked good on the right side.

So far the middle seems to be holding up but the edge is allowing pressure

The Jets would be better with Bagent than Fields.   Justin still has that hitch in his release and a hitch in his reads.  

Booker works thru for a sack nice, ha and almost just had another one.

That sack was on 74 giving up pressure up the middle.  Braxton's guy caught him on the flush.  Would've nailed him if he didn't move up.  So yeah, Braxton sucked eggs... Lol

for sure, if their goal is to win a few more games this year - but I think they have Fields to sell tickets and get a shot at Arch Manning.

And while youre right that the pressure also came from the middle, if Bagent hadnt been on the move, Braxtons guy would have gotten him. He DID get beat to the outside and his rusher was coming free.
