Pro Bowl Voting

Featured Replies

Weird to see Bears as leading vote getters, 4 OL on the list, 14 total players in the top 10. The top 4 guys should be in consideration for All Pro, Dalman, Thuney, and Byard should be 1st Teamers. Wright, just because of name recognition will probably lose out to Horn or Surtain for 1st Team All-Pro.

OC - Dalman - NFC1 / NFL2
OG - Thuney - NFC1 / NFL1

FS - Byard - NFC1 / NFL1
CB - Wright - NFC2 / NFL2

KR - Duvernay - NFC2 / NFL3
ST - Blackwell - NFC2 / NFL4
OT - Wright - NFC4 / NFL4
OG - Jackson NFC3 / NFL7
DE - Sweat - NFC3 / NFL7
LS - Daly - NFC5 / NFL5
QB - Williams - NFC4 / NFL7

P - Taylor - NFC5 / NFL10
TE - Loveland - NFC6 / NFL10
RB - Swift - NFC7 / NFL10

The Position groups without players in the top 10 in voting: WR, DT, ILB, OLB, SS, K.

Somehow Doubs made the top 10 and is 49th in Receiving Yards in the NFL, but Odunze or Moore didn't. DT is expected, both LB spots have been due to injury, SS has been a mixed bag with Brisker, and Santos is obviously not a Pro Bowl kicker.

Hilarious:

10 Bears players were the #1 vote getters in the @NFL:

Dalman, Thuney, D. Wright, Swift, Brisker, N. Wright, Byard, Edmunds, Duvernay, and Taylor

7 others were top 3 vote getters:
Blackwell 2nd (1st in NFC)
Jackson 2nd (2nd only to Thuney)
Daly 2nd (2nd in NFC)
Dexter 2nd (2nd in NFC)
Sweat 3rd (2nd in NFC)
Williams 3rd (1st in NFC)
Loveland 3rd (2nd in NFC)

9 Others: made the top 10:
Stevenson 4th (3rd NFC)
Jarrett 4th (4th in NFC)
Odunze 6th (5th in NFC)
Benedt 6th (5th in NFC) - lol
Burden 7th (6th in NFC)
Edwards 7th (3rd in NFC)
Billings 7th (6th in NFC)
McCloud 8th (5th in NFC) - lol x2
Booker 8th (4th in NFC)

Kicker and Fullback were the only two position groups the Bears didn't have a player in. Cairo snub.

Clearly someone scripted something that included McCloud and Booker.

No Santos, Moore, or Kmet lol.

McCloud is NOT a Pro Bowler for sure! lol

That's the issue with them lumping all the players into a single tweet, then everyone retweeting the hell out of that one. Somewhat odd that Moore, Kmet, and Santos were missed though.

Big difference from when we would only get one or two players make it, quite often as a substitute. Let's hope all of them make it and have to take a pass because they will be preparing to play in the Super Bowl. 😉

I hate to rain on everyone's parade, because a lot of the Bears players are very deserving, but when you see McCloud on the list too, it feels like maybe someone has used technology to cast a lot of votes for Bears players?

There is a WAS fan who did it last year for Commanders players. It seems like someone did it for the Bears this year. Only the top/top guys will get in since the fan vote is only worth 1/3 of the actual voting.

Right, and that isnt to say there arent a bunch of Bears players that absolutely deserve it either!

Hope several make it, the OL, Byard, Wright and Blackwell deserve it. Especially if we keep winning.

Dalman, Thuney, and Byard make the cut, they are the Bears 2026 Pro Bowlers. I feel like Nahshon Wright is probably the biggest snub for the team.

Nash on still has things to improve in his game.  Early on he was all over the place getting beat, missing tackles.  The version we have in the last month has been much better.  I’d like to see him stick around because I like his potential.

I know he has inconsistent coverage but so many of his plays have been so clutch it has to stick out to whoever is watching. Watch any CB other than Pat Surtain, They all have bad plays.
