He has a small route tree, so hoping he is a fast learner and the Bears can broaden those limitationsWatching that Miss St clip, makes me feel he was the teams focal point or Wr1 and by the looks at LSU, he was maybe wr3/gadget.Good catch on the hands. Very odd that at LSU he bodied the ball more on his catches. Wonder if that is something coaches wanted but seeing the hands catches gives away from his body gives me more confidence in the pick. April 27Apr 27 comment_234166 I just listened to a scout with OurLads scouting website talk about Squirrel White and said he will be a huge surprise to the fanbase. Like AZ said, he has speed that isnt reflected in his listed 20s time. Report

Thursday at 10:14 AM3 days comment_234252 I find it interesting that the more you dive into the picks, the more you understand why they drafted them. A lot of pundits say, he was a 6th or 7th round pick but playing for BJ he can become a huge weapon, maybe not for many other teams. Puka Nacua was the last player taken in the 5th round of the 2023 draft, not saying he will be anything like that but that talent is found later in drafts. He run the ball several times and threw a few passes, BJ is going to love this guy. He is 1" shorter and 10 lbs less than Jamyr Gibbs but looks similar in watching both their highlights. Report
4 hours ago4 hr comment_234298 Many thought the Bears reached on Zavion Thomas, but players with 4.28 speed usually go rounds 1 thru 4. If the Bears didn't take him, another team would have a few picks later. You can't coach speed and with Kalif Raymond signed for only one year, he can help mentor Zavion to get him adjusted to the NFL. Zavion Thomas was also on the 2024 SEC Academic honor roll and was a leader in the LSU WR room Report
