L.A. is finalizing a trade for reigning Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett, shipping Jared Verse, a 2027 first-round pick, a 2028 second-round pick and a 2029 third-round pick to the Cleveland Browns, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero and ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Monday.

Wow. I figured something was going to happen with him. Rams have to be the favorite in the NFC now.

Great trade for the Browns and their future. It's only great for the Rams if they win the Superbowl.

This is their GMs MO. He did it once and it worked.

It appears the Bears were never players in this. If we do something at DE it will be of the economical variety. Poles is holding his powder for next year when he’ll have a lot of flexibility. We could be in for a wild off-season if he decides to trade some assets like Jaylon Johnson, Kmet,etc.

As AZ stated this next off season will be the reset with more flexibility next year. As much I think this will be a successful year, next year should be the run to the SB. It would be nice if we surprising get farther this year.

I wonder how many of these big player trades actually get their team to the SB? So far it didnt work out for GB and Khali Mack didnt get us very far. The Rams almost made it their last year so it makes more sense for a team like that than most teams. I very interested in seeing if the Rams make it to the SB.
