QB Comparison 2024-2025
Shows you how bad our evaluators were over 40 years. Coach, QB and Oline is what it takes.

QB Comparison 2024-2025
Which is crazy to think about. Kramer was the last Bears QB to finish in the top 10 in Passing Yards (1995) since Caleb who finished 7th last year. He was 106 yards away from already being in the top 5. A funny fact is Rex Grossman finished 12th one year, which was higher than Cutler did in any season he played for the Bears (13th twice).

QB Comparison 2024-2025
I think those numbers will be his baseline from here on out. He would have had that if you eliminated drops, penalties, or miscommunication. We might have a top 5 this year and top 2 next as he and BJ learn.

QB Comparison 2024-2025
Comparing QBs closest to Williams in 2024-2025: Herbert 672-1016, 66.1%, 7597 yds, 49 TD, 16 INT, 804 Rush Yards, Years 5-6 (within 114 passing yards, 2 TD) Mahomes 707-1083, 65.3%, 7515 yds, 48 TD, 22 INT, 729 Rush Yards, Years 8-9 (within 32 passing yards, 1 TD) Williams 681-1130, 60.3%, 7483 yds, 47 TD, 13 INT, 877 Rush Yards, Years 1-2 Allen 626-943, 66.4%, 7399 yds, 53 TD, 16 INT, 1110 Rush Yards, Years 7-8 (within 6 TD) The biggest difference is that Williams was a rookie in 2024 with Flus as HC. Considering that, his being already in the mix with this group of QBs is a great sign. Mahomes and Allen are annual MVP Candidates, and Herbert has started to be put in that conversation. I honestly think Williams starts becoming a perennial 4K / 30 TD QB.

Logan Jones
It is exciting that we have a talented prospect to build the line around. I'd be happy if we continue with adding a guard that can learn a year under Thuney/Jackson. Of course if we get a shot at a top prospect LT, that would be the cherry on top, but those are slim opportunities.

Yahoo actually finally recognized me, LOL. Before, it was acting as if I was unauthorized to make changes. Now it allowed me to change my email addy, Team Name (Caleb's Nail Salon), and logo (Now you can finally see who you have been talking to for over 2 decades. ;-)

Try this for email: My Team > Edit Team Info > Preferences Tab > Email Preferences > Preferred Email Address (Edit) I see your name and new team name associated with that team, not my info. For logo and name, are you saying you can't access it here: My Team > Edit Team Info > Name and Logo Tab That is where I can change mine; the only access I have to your team is the invite and the roster for keepers.

Late September in Chicago is gorgeous. Usually perfect weather.

Thanks. I was trying to change the email address Yahoo uses to send notifications, but it will not allow me to do so without explanation. I think it is because it is showing what I believe is your email address for my team. Could you please change it for me or tell me how? I'm also getting an error when I try to change the image for the team logo (I need to change my team name, I didn't check names already used before I edited. Sorry.)

Been awhile since I was last in Chicago but what kinda weather should we expect in late September? Kinda remember it having a more traditional autumn timeframe there (we don’t). Wife was curious as she tends to run cold.

Once I retire (next summer) we’re talking about moving abroad or at least living long term overseas. I’ve watched with great interest when you travel to Thailand. Don’t think I’d be able to convince the missus to go there with me though.

Pix, once you get the invite, you will have access to see everything. I think it is considered a "private" league. The Live Draft Time is anywhere from 15s to 2 mins between picks. We typically do a minute, but we can bump it up by 15s intervals to something like 1m 15s or 1m 30s if that was more appealing. There are 17 rounds to fill out the rosters. With a minute per pick, it has typically lasted about an hour. If you are game, just DM me the email address you want to use and I will get you the invite for Scott's team.

Adam, thanks for taking the time to give me the league setup. I will have to familiarize myself with Yahoo Sports; it has been well over 10 years since I last used their site for fantasy football. I didn't care for their draft room, but I'm sure things have changed a lot since I last used it. I tried using the links you provided, but because I wasn't a member of the league, I couldn't view those pages. Question: How many rounds is the draft, and how long does it give you to make your selection? I will need to get in the groove. When I played redrafts, I could tell you the names of every skill player on every team. Now, I might be a bit lost during the draft, as I haven't followed the other teams' rosters while being a homer. If you and the other managers allow me, I would appreciate the opportunity to join your league.

I finished in 5th last year. It was pretty competitive with the 6th place team winning the championship, and 9 out of 10 teams with a chance at making the playoffs in the last week of the season.

Pix, this 10-man league started in 2010 and I joined in 2012. The "dues" are $75 with winnings: 1st - $440 2nd - $200 3rd - $75 4th - $35 The team you would assume finished in 2nd last year, so they would be picking 9th in a snake draft (so 9th, 11th, repeat). Here is their final roster: Keeper Eligible for 2026: Jonathan Taylor Ind - RB Round 2, Pick 5 George Kittle SF - TE Round 3, Pick 6 TreVeyon Henderson NE - RB Round 4, Pick 5 Breece Hall NYJ - RB Round 5, Pick 6 Brock Purdy SF - QB Round 7, Pick 6 Deebo Samuel Was - WR Round 9, Pick 6 Jared Goff Det - QB Round 12, Pick 5 Jake Bates Det - K Round 14, Pick 5 Not Keeper Eligible: Matthew Stafford LAR - QB - Not drafted by team Justin Jefferson Min - WR - Last Year's First Rounder Jameson Williams Det - WR - Last Year's Keeper Juwan Johnson NO - TE - Not drafted by team Tee Higgins Cin - WR - Last Year's Keeper Christian Watson GB - WR - Not drafted by team Kimani Vidal LAC - RB - Not drafted by team Parker Washington Jax - WR - Not drafted by team Patriots NE - DEF - Not drafted by team We allow up to 2 keepers per season. They have to be drafted by you and on your final roster. The cost of the keeper is +1 round for the first keeper, and if you want a second one, that will cost +2 rounds. For example, if you wanted to keep Deebo Samuel and Jared Goff, Samuel would cost your 8th rounder, and Goff would cost your 10th rounder. The league is a PPR league with the following roster spots: QB, WR, WR, RB, RB, TE, W/R/T, W/R/T, K, DEF, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, IR, IR, IR. 2 flex, 7 bench, and 2 IR slots. Most of the scoring is traditional with bonuses for 100 yard rushing/receiving or 300 yard passing. Everything else is pretty standard stuff.
