  1. Past hour
  2. Shady was giving Caleb shit last week and now this.
  3. Today
  4. and he is talented as hell, and the lightbulb is coming on for him as a pocket passer, just like we hoped. He wont need these heroics much longer. He's about to be a top QB. I think this was his breakout game. If you watch each play, he was magnificent. The offense sputtered, but Caleb was GREAT. Oh and here are his recent records: 1) #1 lowest interceptions for a QB in their first 1,000 passes of all time (since the merger) 2) Second highest career TD to INT ratio of all time. Rodgers is #1, Caleb #2, Mahomes and Brady are in the top 5 too. 3) Ties Payton Manning for most 4th Qtr comebacks (20) under age 25 And he is still improving - the signs are there. He is on the path to being a top QB for a long time. And I believe he took a huge step tonight. Much calmer, better accuracy, timing was fantastic, good reads, and a total winner at the end. Due to our D line being terrible we didnt have the ball much on offense, but that long early drive when we fumbled the trick play at the end? Go watch Caleb cook he was on fire, and so calm - it looked easy. And the end of the game too. A real winner and difference maker. If you could trade Caleb for ANY QB in the league to roll with for the next 5 years - cap aside, just straight up - who would you take? Id stay with Caleb. Thats who he is. The signs were there from the start, and its all coming together now as Ben Johnson teaches him how to actually play the position.
  5. The way Green Bay lost is the way the Bears used to lose. I really wanted to run them into the ground but missing guys like Rome and Luther, who both block well, had an effect. But FGB, it’s nice to see their fans know how this feels. Especially because we are a team on the rise… and they know it.
  6. its incredible and theres so much room for improvement too! And if we had a pass rush, wed have more possessions too
  7. usually that's the kind of thing Rodgers did to us. Caleb is getting there. Im telling you guys - CW is for REAL.
  8. And we have arguably our two most challenging games of the season ahead of us.
  9. 56.9 air yards on that TD pass to Moore, in that crazy wind, which makes it even that much of a better throw.
  10. Caleb has two things going for him, he believes in himself and never gives up.
  11. 22 or more points in 14 out of 15 games, with the only game lower than 22 pts is 19 pts.
  12. If 2-0 = #1 seed or #2 seed, 50/50. If 1-1 = #2 seed, 100. If 0-2 = #7 seed or miss playoffs, 75/25. DET needs to win out
  13. Caleb has two games to break the record. I would say our opponents need to play all 70 minutes to beat us.
  14. We have a hell of a team here. Caleb is becoming elite right in front of us, right on schedule. And we are doing all of this without a shred of a D line. Imagine how scary we will be with an actual pass rush. We need to do whatever it takes, trade whoever is necessary; JJ, Moore whoever to get one. Draft them too. You add a pass rush to this train and we are real killers.
  15. I'm not watching the replay of the whole game but will watch the OT. Lots of bad today but I don't care. I will never bad mouth Caleb again even if he throws 5 interceptions in a game. Talk of trading DJ Moore after the season needs to go away. He's a gamer. We are now in the driver's seat, we have two wins yet but I'm not even considering we might lose. Blackwell recovered the onside kick. DuShoun Wright caused that fumble in OT. I love this team, stop any negative talk and enjoy what just happened.
  16. The stats wont tell the story (again) but Caleb had a fantastic game this week. Everything looked crisp & decisive. And of course what he did at the end. He's becoming elite right before our eyes.
  17. DJ Moore said it best on national TV: F Green Bay. I can't say that enough. What a dagger through the heart that was. We have been on the receiving end of those daggers for a long long time because GB had the better QBs. If the TV was right, Caleb and this years Bears team holds the NFL record for 4th quarter come from behind wins. That's not a fluke. To borrow common phrase: 3 date points is a trend 6 is tsunami. Anyone playing Chicago and Caleb knows now they damn well better be prepared to play 60 because we ain't giving up. (edit: NFL Network just said Caleb has tied Peyton Mannings record for come from behind wins under the age of 25. We might still hold the single season record too so how ever you slice it this is elite territory. Enjoy it!).
  18. It is interesting - a lot of best qbs bunched in that range. Goff there too and Mahomes and Stafford not far away.
  19. Yeah I thought it was insane when we tried the 51 yarder and he freaking drilled it. He has been pretty good on kicks too. Special teams in general has been much improved past few weeks.
  20. I have not been the biggest fan, mainly due to his lack of range, but his kicks tonight with the wind and the onside kick were amazing. This was arguably the best game of his career.
  21. Looks alot like Josh Allen and Baker Mayfield, I will take it.
  22. Funny they called it there, but I saw the same thing on the first play of the game from GB. WR was not set, but they didn't call it.
  23. Yes - Ben Johnson and Dennis Allen struggled a bit. Packers adjusted well on both sides of the ball. I think Ben will learn from this though. Id love for Lions to lose tomorrow. Nuts how hard it is to make playoffs in NFC this year.
  24. That easily goes down as the most thrilling win as a Bears fan in my life. I have no idea how they won that game.
