I heard they are also interviewing Matt Ryan for the president's job. Makes sense. He is Atlanta's HOFer and highly respected by the owner, and remains extremely popular with the fan base. President Ryan GM Cunningham Problem solved.

I think you can trade next years since it is known you have it…where as you can’t trade a traditional comp pick since you technically don’t officially have it until it is assigned. With that said I’m not entirely sure on the 27 comp pick.

I would think we would get the picks. It isn’t as if Atlanta is saving a pick and the point is to promote and encourage minorities into more high profile front office (or head coach) positions. Whether he is GM or President I would think the Bears would get the 2 picks. To the questions earlier - you can trade the picks and the Bears would get 1 this year and 1 next year.

yeah, I mean it doesnt cost them anything, so they are just thinking about who they want for what job I guess. My instinct is that it WOULD count and wed get the picks, but I dunno. I mean they're trying to get "minorities" jobs right? And you're trying to incentivize teams to have "minority" assistant GMs, so why wouldn't you award this? I mean the whole thing is dumb to me anyway. Teams will hire whoever they think can win with, I dont think the NFL is racist. But I also dont mean to open a whole can of worms or any kind of discussion about that right now, 24 hours before the playoff game! And if theyre handing out 3rd round picks for anything, Ill take as many as I can get, no matter why.

I see where Ian Cunningham is being strongly considered for GM or President of the Falcons. I know that if he becomes GM, we will get two 3rd round compensatory picks. I assume the same would be true if they tab him for President, but Im not sure, so if anyone knows Id love to know: 1) do we still get the picks if he is President and not GM? 2) do we get the first of those picks in this year's draft, and the next one next year? 3) are the picks tradeable? 4) are both the picks tradeable this year? Might be helpful for moving up int he first round for a pass rusher, or in trade for one. Thanks to anyone who knows and can tell me!

GB Defense is still not the same without Parsons. Offense is less efficient without Kraft. Bears 6-2 at home, Packers 4-4-1 on the road. Using the last 4 games, the Bears have a distinct advantage, Congunkulator is showing a 6-point victory, 27-21. Whoever scores more than 21 first wins.

Rome is back. We now have him, Loveland, Burden, Moore, and a RB to cover. In the last game the Packers brought down a safety to shutdown our running game. I don’t see how they can afford to do that without giving up some big plays. Or they keep both safeties back and we run.

You are correct that net punting and punting yards are impacted by field position as someone punting from their own 20 can boom it without the risk of a touchback. The two areas that are not impacted as much by that are the Inside the 20% and the Touchback%. Preferably you want the highest In20% with the lowest TB%. So just using those and the combination of those. Taylor was the 5th worst punter for TB%, and the 9th worst for In20%. For the combination of the 2, he ranked as the 27th Punter. Only 4 punters had a worse ratio than him in 2025.

The Packers will miss CJGJ. He was their favorite target.
