We have to rev up our offense and run the hell out of the ball to control the clock because our defense will be hurting with 3rd string LBers in there. its not going to be pretty but we still can win the game. I say 30 to 23 and of course we win.

This - given what he missed they may want him to be in full for quite a bit longer before they deem him ready for game day. I’m still guessing next week for JJ and the following week for Kyler and TJ. Also sounds like Edmunds is out for a week or two with a groin injury.

I don't think full participant necessarily means he's playing. There's a lot to football conditioning and one Thur practice followed by a light Fri practice isn't enough in my opinion.

I think JJ is pressing this to come back. Reasonable people will probably say wait another week, but he is so focused on what he wants, he may push his way back on the field sooner. His grit and dedication made him an ALL PRO, give him what he wants.

I remember Booker and Kyle both being full participants when returning from injuries, and neither one suited up for the following game. I hope you're right, but I suspect he will be held out to make sure he is fully ready for contact.

Kaleb Johnson was one of several running backs in the 2025 draft that I hoped the Bears would draft. I'm surprised he has had such a bad start to his career.

No. He did not say that he expects BJ to abandon Caleb. He presented the members of the forum a valid question, and I quote with a cut and paste: Stinger has been very supportive of Caleb and hopes he will continue to progress. All you have to do is read his posts, and it is pretty evident. However, if Caleb fails to show any progress over the course of the following year (the last half of the 2025 season and the first half of the 2026 season), will BJ's faith in Caleb be shaken? I dont see PHX posts anymore but by your post he is still whipping on me. He always took a comment I would make and twist it to be able to jump on me. He praised , look at tape as the guiding light ,and I just bring up Caleb's lack of accuracy and now I am labeled a Caleb hater Im sure. Yeah the Bears and Packers have 3 common games remaining (DET, 2 against each other), the 4 different games are MINx2, DEN, BAL vs the Bears getting PHI, SF, PIT, and CLE. GB is a very weird team. All 3 of their losses have come when the defense held the opponent to 16 or less. They have turned the ball over in only 4 games, and in those games they are 1-3-1. So it seems like even one error and the entire game is derailed. That actually reminds me of recent Bears teams, the big difference being Flus+Fields vs LaFleur+Love.
