And of course, right out of the gate, the Bears commit a moronic penalty to set the Packers up at midfield.

At this time last year we were pounding our fists for a LT. We chose the 2nd TE on most boards. I dont see a RB right now other than Love from ND, but you never know. Im not saying we will or should take a RB but if they see one that they think adds that explosive play potential, then don't be surprised. Ill say the same for another WR or any position.

Apparently Jacobs is going to play despite not practicing at all and being on crutches this week, but Burden and Odunze had to be ruled out 3 days before the game... That irks me. The Bears have to punch the Packers in the mouth early. Make them feel the doubt of not having Micah Parsons out there. That's a tough loss to get over emotionally that quick. I just think they are ripe to be jumped on out of the gate.

Yeah, it's either going to be GB or SF. Getting the 1 seed would make it more likely they play the winner of TB/CAR vs PHI in the 2nd round, which would be awesome, but that's an uphill battle still.

agree - I think all you can take from this is whether a QB is a one read or run QB, after that its too chaotic to really mean much. I suppose the extreme opposite too - if a QB is routinely throwing ti evenly to 1st 2nd and 3rd reads that might mean something too about reading the field. But if that QB is under pressure, it might just be the scramble drill and not even distribution by design?

I have no clue how to interpret this. First receiver is a good thing ala Matthew Stanford or being a Checkdown king is a good thing ala Kirk Cousins. Then you add in the myriad of variables like does your WR 1 suck or is he double covered forcing you to go elsewhere? Is your OC any good or is he the idiot we had last year who often ran two or even three WR to the same area of the field? Although that made it very easy to progress from 1 to 2 to 3

There should be two versions of this chart - one when blitzed, or OL allows free runners, and the other when facing coverage. Teams have been blitzing Caleb a lot, more than most QBs, so we need to punish them for that with hot reads, screens, draws, jet sweeps etc.

And if we end up winning the division and being the second seed, our first playoff game would be hosting GB. If we end up as a wild card, our first playoff game would be at GB. There are other scenarios, but like 90% of the outcomes are playing GB one way or another.

I don’t think I even know how to understand this. Nor do I think it would be easy for whoever is calculating it to come up with it. Concept is good.

East coast (adam) about 8 pm? Stinger (I assume) will be in Thailand (?) and watching at sometime tomorrow morning? Here in the AK it’ll be 4 pm.
