1. Knox is the most hot or cold player in the NFL. One play he's falling down, the next he's running the wrong route, the next he's burning a DB for an incredible catch. He's incredibly frustrating. And just like I documented last year, his bad habits are directly responsible for INTs. 2. The OL still sucks at pass protection. Bad. He said being hurt sucks because it's uncharted territory for him. -Claimed Martz needs to tone down the play calls for Hanie (right after Hanie said he's fine with the plays). -Made a point to say "we need to get Matt going" about 3 times. -Told the media he has 2 pins and 3 screws (or vice versa, I can't recall) in his thumb right now. -Stated he would love to play now but he obviously can't. -Said he might be out for the year (in other words, "I'll be back sooner than later") -Confirmed the report that he is engaged again.

I think the Bears may make a splash this offseason by bringing in a big time WR. The Roy Williams experiment isn't quite working out as they had hoped. Jay tried early to build that relationship, but the lack of heart and hands limits Roy. There's a nice list below of some great targets for the Bears if they don't resign with their team. It's not that the Bears don't have decent WR's, they have a nice group of #2's or #3's. They need that big target Jay can throw it up to when the pressure's coming. This young man is really trying his luck. evidently he is okay after losing control of what was described as a vintage auto and he had 2 others in the car and both are also okay. I guess he is originally from Portland as he played prep football there.The report stated that he was not impaired and that he was cooperative with the police.

come on and quit the whining... ATL lost today too, and the Lions are against NO today. If Lions lose we're all still tied. Rough game, yes. Forte down, yes, probably out for a while. With the way Barber has contributed compared to Forte as of late, it seemed to be a sustainable loss so far. And this Hanie complaining gets a little old. The guy is rushed just like Cutler was at the beginning of the year before the OL learned to adapt to him. Took 4 or so games.
