Starting with the defense. we need to re-sign roach LB and Adams DT, then sign Lawson OLB and C. Jenkins DT and maybe Marshall at CB. On offense I would be trying to get either C. Nicks G from the Saints or one of the two guards from the Falcons...they cant keep both hopefully...since we are cutting useless # 86 at TE we have got one already now we need a big WR like Williams, Moss, Burress, or Floyd. I have looked at the list of undrafted players we signed and there maybe some talent that we can use. We got three WR'S two centers, 5 DB/S types and a few OL and DL players so we can be sitting pretty with adding a few players at some positions.

  2. As per PFT. That means teams can stay far under the cap. Now I'm starting to get worried, especially when you consider: 1. We appear to be done adding offensive playmakers, essentially swapping Greg Olsen and Rashied Davis for Roy Williams & Sam Hurd. Not an upgrade. 2. Considering our d-line was mediocre, after letting Tommie go, I thought we'd add a quality guy to help Peppers. Instead we get Gholston. I have as many NFL sacks as he does. Seeing how we did nothing to improve Gaines Adams, I have no faith in Marinelli. Maybe Gholston will die and then we'll bring in a pro bowl DE. 3. Secondary--We let D Manning go, and we plan to replace him with Majo…

I'm hearing that the Seachickens asked Lofa to take a pay cut. He said and has now asked for him release and it sounds like the team will relunctly release him. I'd like to bring him in. Briggs, Urlacher and Lofa would be a. Very dangerous trio and he does have ties to Ruskell.

Do we have any takers? I hear he came to camp overweight. He played for Tice, and I can see bringing him in to take Omiyale place as the swing tackle and get him into shape. He is 32 years old as per article I read.

If you look at the roster as is I think our DL is going to be a major upgrade over last year. DE- Peppers- dont need to say anything about him DE-Idonije- journeyman-not going to hurt you DE-Wooten- suppose to look much better than last year- good upside DE- Gohlsten- could be that speed rusher were missing DT- Adams- good player DT-Okoye- could be our best FA signing and inside pressure guy DT-Melton- the Bears think he is ready to be the man inside(came in at 262 and is now 295 ) DT-Paea- strongman brute that could be up to speed quickly DT-Toeina- good rotation guy LBs- second on the team with a lack of depth

I don't know if any of you have ever followed YourBoyRoy. He used to video tape Training Camp in Bourbonais a few years ago and would upload it onto youtube for the fans that couldn't make it there. Because of him the Bears Org. posted that no video taping practice would be allowed, yet this also forced ChicagoBear.com to raise their standards of the Camp Coverage on their site. Roy has never recieved even a pat on the back for this. LOL....but, he is also a friend of mine and makes some excellent videos breaking down some of the major plays in games and shares a lot of the same oppinion that I do of our team. Check out his video and post on here what you think about…

Was watching this video and thought that since our team will be meeting Detroit twice again, this is a concern. And he already has history.... So what say you...stupid or aggressive play? http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlig...HP11_hot_topics

If healthy this could be the answer we need he was a pro bowler for the saints, but little health issues in the off season. Maybe we get him for a song. But only of healthy.

  11. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/...er-concussions/ Jim McMahon sues the NFL over concussions Posted by Michael David Smith on August 18, 2011, 6:34 PM EDT Getty ImagesJim McMahon is one of seven former players suing the NFL over health problems that they say are the result of concussions and other brain injuries they suffered on the field. McMahon, the Bears’ quarterback in their Super Bowl-winning 1985 season, joins a group of players saying that the NFL was negligent and that players have suffered from headaches, dizziness and dementia because of injuries suffered on the field. “The purpose of this lawsuit is to obtain proper funding to a…

--well the line looks a little better, but that aint saying much --I get that its a practice game so I wont jump all over martz' ass cause he might want to get a look at things on film, but if he is still calling a 2 to 1 pass to run ratio when the season starts, he needs to be held accountable. --The defense looks like they have no energy. The outside linebackers have not held leverage all night and look like crap. --They should just shoot chester taylor now. -- Roy Williams is a joke. I hate that guy already. What an insult to the rest of the team, come in out of shape and drops the damn ball. --WTF is up with the special teams. The c…

Tavaris Jackson is absolutely terrible. Based on how great Minnys run game looks, he is gonna cost them big this year.

That was one of the dumbest friggin calls in the history of the Bears. 1) Forte was effective 2) McKie is not a good runner 3) The passing game was not effective 4) Everyone in the stadium knew the Bears were going to run What the hell? This game is all on the offense, specifically Ron Turner and Kyle Orton.

IMHO to beat the Buc we must run the ball at least 30 times and use our height at TE in the red zone, because we are going to get there against this team. DO NOT GIVE MCKIE THE BALL ON 3RD OR 4TH AND 1 OR TWO! We need to use the famous play action bootleg pass to the TE that always works. If we did last week we would have won that game. 4th and one and the team is stacked for the run and a hand off to the slow a$$ fullback. Who did Turner think McKie was Jim Brown, Franco Harris,Walter, Barry.....who!!!!! LOL

    1. Angelo's inability to do anything for this offense. 2. No franchise QB. 3. No play makers at WR. (Lloyd looks good as of right now) 4. Our TE's can't catch or hold onto balls. 5. Offensive coordinator who sucks. 6. Defense coordinator who sucks. 7. O-Line is put together like legos. 8. Drafted an injury prone tackle. 9. Not using Kevin Jones. 10. This front office sucks as a whole. They're trotting out the same shit year after year on offense. I'm sick of it.
