I saw this short YouTube video with every one of Dexter's snaps this week and no commentary - and best of all, it's less than 4 minutes long You can easily see that he's only late getting out of his stance on about 15% of his snaps now, and when he's late it's by a much shorter interval. My question to all of you is this: is this the most snake bitten season the Bears have ever had? If you think of what we talked about the entire off season, the consensus would say, it's the year off Justin. What we never discussed is the litany of injuries this team has had. Drill that down to the OL and we can say that we've not seen the projected starting five all season. Other than the Charles Martin slaughter of Jim McMahon, I have not seen such carnage on the injury report. Of all the position groups, this one has to be one of the most disappointing ones. Outside of Moore's god given talent, has any other player from this group done anything positive this year? Like for me, they have all been net negatives, Claypool, Mooney, Velus, and Scott. St. Brown has barely played this year so I don't even count him and his lack of availability is a negative. There was the Claypool stuff that started from the day he arrived until he left. Zero accountability both on and off the field. From last season, the Bears lost this much production from their passing game (Mooney, Tonyan, Foreman): 53-603-2 This is what they gained from adding Allen, Everett, and Swift: 198-1868-11 That is such a massive jump in production it would make the Bears have a 4500 yard passer with the difference (145-1265-9) added to last year's passing totals. For rushing totals, they go from: 109-425-4 to 229-1049-5. So 120-624-1 difference there as well. Adding over 2K yards of offense and 10 TDs cannot be understated.

So apparently the Bengals are calling asking about Khalil Herbert in trade. They need a RB, having just lost Dixon. At the same time, Trey Hendrickson, their best edge rusher has asked for a trade. He had 17.5 sacks last year and has two years remaining on his deal. Hmmmm.

Guys, I’m not sure where to even start. But before the season I think most of us thought Poles had this thing heading in the right direction. And yes we were questioning the offensive line and after taking so many hits there what was questionable became a weak link. The record at the beginning of the season was always a mirage. Higher than I expected to be honest. Considering Goff is lower, and only Daniels is higher as a 2nd year QB. So Maye, McCarthy, Penix are all lower.

Incredible win but sucks for TJ and Trapillo. Both suffered significant injuries. Trapillo tore his patellar tendon and Edward’s broke his fibula. Hope they both have full recoveries. Anyone know what long term prognosis is for that type of injury for Trapillo. He had really been ascending. Presume this might mean he misses a chunk of next year too / impacts his ability to train.
