I watched the game with some close friends. We were talking and my friend from college runs a sports bar in chicago that is funded by a bunch of chicago athletes. Well he tells us that on friday night he catered a party for Urlacher at his house. From what he says most of the team was there and they were partying pretty good unitl 3 or 4 in morning. I said bullshit but he had some pretty good details to share. I had seen a interview with Urlacher in his basement and my friend described his basement to the tee. So i wonder if the Bears really were not taking Detroit to serious? Prolly the reason Lovie freaked out at halftime. I hope the Bears are taking NE as serious …

Do any of you think the window is closed? I do. Despite having a young offense, most of those young guys suck. Omiyale, Knox, Webb, and Hester all suck. The defense is great, but by the time 2012 comes around (which is when the next season will be most likely) Urlacher, Peppers, Briggs, Idonije, Tillman, and C.Harris will all be TWO years old on top of their already advanced ages. F*** MY LIFE

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/...back-situation/ Bears bungled backup quarterback situation Posted by Michael David Smith on January 24, 2011, 11:09 AM EST Lost in all the talk about the knee injury that sidelined Jay Cutler in the Bears’ NFC Championship Game loss has been the fact that the Bears completely botched their backup quarterback situation on Sunday by foolishly installing Todd Collins, and not Caleb Hanie, as their No. 2 quarterback. When Cutler went out, Collins went in, and he was horrible: He threw four ugly incompletions before Bears coach Lovie Smith yanked him for Hanie. But why was Collins ahead of Hanie on the depth chart…

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S3y6U8hlNu0 Hope you guys enjoy this, 7 minutes of highlights from this season, pretty much any big play you can think of is on here. What are some of your favorite plays? Which stick out the most from the video that didn't get "enough" love during the season? I love Earl Bennet's catch vs Detroit where he rumbled on for like 20 extra yards.

Finally! Good for him. Glad he finally made it.

Browns Cut Shaun Rogers, Five Others By FanHouse Newswire Text SizeAAAPrint this page|EmailShare on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on DiggShare on Lifestream CLEVELAND (AP) -- The Cleveland Browns are cleaning house. On Wednesday, the team terminated the contracts of some big-name players, including their biggest player -- enormous nose tackle Shaun Rogers (right). In addition, the Browns, who are rebuilding once again under new coach Pat Shurmur, also released veteran linebackers Eric Barton and David Bowens, defensive end Kenyon Coleman, tight end Robert Royal and right offensive tackle John St. Clair. All six of the players are over age 30, and the…

So the guys at Walterfootball.com have done a 5-round mock draft for all 32 teams. Here's who they have Chicago picking: 1. Mike Pouncey, OG, Florida This would be a stellar pick, in my opinion. Get a genuine stud at left guard, move Chris Williams back to left tackle, and let Omiyale and Webb compete for right tackle. Three birds with one stone. 2. Marvin Austin, DT, UNC Drake Nevis is off the board at this point in their mock, making Austin the best remaining under-tackle prospect. Given the guy's talent, I'd be OK with gambling on his character issues. A d-line of Izzy-Adams-Austin-Peppers would be beastly. Also, their mock has a serious run on …

This was done with the Bears, at times, inept offense over the last few seasons. From the Bears website: http://www.chicagobears.com/news/ChalkTalk...p?story_id=7716 I keep hearing that Greg Olsen is no longer a threat in the passing game. But didn’t he lead the Bears in receiving touchdowns again in 2010? Roger W. Iowa Yes, Greg Olsen tied Johnny Knox for the Bears lead with five touchdown receptions in 2010. Olsen also topped the Bears with five TD catches in 2008 and eight in 2009. Olsen’s 20 career TD receptions are the second most by a Bears tight end, trailing Hall of Famer Mike Ditka’s 34. Olsen’s 18 touchdown receptions the past three …
