Imagine if the Bears got Devin Hester in the right position from the get go. He's failed at DB and has never lived up to the #1 WR that the Bears envisioned. Maybe if he was used primarily out of the slot he'd do better, or maybe not. But I think using him like Darren Sproles would've been the best way to go. Return specialist and change of pace RB. Hub Arkish brought this up and I thought this would be an excellant thought to consider. RB is alot easier to learn and Devin should grasp it pretty quickly. He would probably be open more often than not coming out of the backfield and being a check down or screen option. Combine comparison of the two- Devin H…

QB Jay Cutler 2014 Nate Enderle 2015 Josh McCown FA Caleb Haine FA The Bears will need to address the #2 QB this offseason. Josh McCown earned a good look, but the Bears will continue to explore other options. Kyle Orton is linked to wanting to come back to Chicago, the place he calls home. David Garrard and Tice were together in Jax, so I'll throw him out there as well Draft Pick-highly unlikely this year, the Bears need to put effort in Enderle and need a capable #2 RB Matt Forte FA Marion Barber 2013 Tyler Clutts 2014 Armando Allen "undisclosed" Kahlil Bell RFA The Bears RB is not in a good situation. This might be another undi…

These point were said on the Score by Hub, these are things coming out of Halas Hall Ted Phillips fired JA really to get the hot seat away from himself. In Ted's presser he said he had a list of potential GM's. Word is no one is interested in the GM job, or should i say no one worth a shit is interested in even interviewing for the job. We know Mckenzie was not interested, look at his first move, Jackson fired. Tell me the Lovie rule by the Bears didnt make Mckenzie not even consider the Bears. Decosta took himself off the list. That leaves Les Snead from ATL- since his name surfaced i have not heard a thing. I wonder if the Bears reached out to him and he has a…

Per Tribune Dirk is gone. Looks like the Bears may have to change their minds about Jeremy Bates, if he would even consider the position now.

Question: would you trade the 1st, 2nd, and two 3rd's for Calvin Johnson? I know I would really consider that thought and think this Justin Blackmon can be a Terrell Owens or Calvin Johnson type of threat. If by chance Justin Blackmon falls to the 5th pick that will equal 1700 points on the trade value chart. Our 1, 2, and 3's will equal 1700 points. After watching the bowl game and knowing he wasn't 100% healthy and he absolutely destroyed his competetion shows me he will excel in the NFL and be a top 5 WR. Just a nugget to consider, we do have ammo to go up to pick #5. Also, I think he comes across as a good high character guy. How about Micheal Floyd, some …

Trade Briggs for a 2nd round pick. Trade Knox for a 5th. Extend Idonije, Urlacher, Graham, Jennings, and Okoye. Cut Omiyale, Wootton, and Spaeth. Sign Robert Meachem, Eddie Royal, and Brady Quinn. Franchise Forte. 1) David DeCastro, OG, Stanford ---All of you know me as the guy who never wants OL this high. However, in this scenario, Williams would move back to LT and DeCastro would fill in at OG. Even if Webb stays or the Bears sign a LT through FA, DeCastro would start at RG or LG. 2) Dwight Jones, WR, North Carolina ---In the past, I've said that I love McNutt. He's a very good player. However, in his final game, he was shut down by Alfonzo Dennard…

I havent heard one report about anyone from the personnel side of the Saints being interviewed or considered for a job. I find that weird. For a team that drafts well, can run the ball downhill and throw it all over the yard...why arent the Bears sniffing around them? Note: Not that I think it matters, the Bears seem destined and determined to hire a scrub. So the question may be rhetorical for the Bears organization.

I know theres been numerous times hes been brought up in the past but I seriously have to question how this guy has kept his job since 2004. The state of our WR corps under his tenure has been easily the worst in the NFL. We havent been able to develop a single WR that weve drafted and the few weve signed have done absolutely nothing here. How can a WR coach watch the product weve had on the field the past few years and not be able to do anything to improve it and still have a job? The closest thing weve had to a legit WR is Earl Bennett and thats 100% due to his familiarity with Jay because as we saw when Cutler doesnt play Bennett basically becomes a ghost.

Most of the Bears’ 2012 schedule is pretty well set now that they and other third-place teams are set. From the NFC West the Bears have Seattle and St. Louis coming to Soldier Field, plus Carolina from the NFC South and Houston and Indianapolis from the AFC South. They will travel to play Arizona, San Francisco, Jacksonville and Tennessee. And the Bears would go to Dallas. Along with playing the Packer, Lions and Vikings twice. I will go on record now saying that with a few players in FA and the draft .....the Bears are looking at least an 11-5 season
