Why don't we take a chance? He did a great job with GB when given the opportunity and he has a huge upside. He would look good next to Knox and Williams.

Cullen Jenkins is still there, and 50 of the top 80 FAs are still out there. There are lots of decent football players being released. I think we sign Kreutz and Jenkins and grab a couple of OLs and we could be vastly improved. Also we need a CB.

every single signing is former busts and potential. Not one OL, no LBs, CBs, what is this regime thinking?

Nick Fairley injured his foot during practice and is in a walking boot. The team doesn't know how severe the injury is and there is speculation that it could be a possible stress fracture.

http://www.chicitysports.com/2011/08/03/sk...ars-on-twitter/ Yes, THEE negative Skip Bayless is telling the Bears good job. I never thought I would see the day.

I've heard from numerous sources, that the NFL and NFLPA signed the new 10 year CBA. But I haven't heard when the opt out's kick in. Anyone know?

If most of you have heard the tirade by now that the Bears WR coach Darryl Drake had with reporters at camp yesterday, here is an update. Most of his venom was directed to Rick Morrissey of the CHGO Sun Times who was asking him direct questions about the situation with Knox. In his tirade he told Morrissey that he would read Martz's comments on his own and would come back and make a comment about them and then sped away in a golf cart. Well it turns out he was a man of his word and gave Morissey some info that he could post in an article on the Sun Times website(I admit I'm not computer savy enough to post a link so guys please help me out ).The good thing is that Morri…

http://www.chicitysports.com/2011/08/14/be...eniscus-damage/ Luckily there was no ACL damage and he should be back before the season opener.

http://espn.go.com/chicago/nfl/story/_/id/...sod-time-season I'm not sure how many times we have gotten new sod, but as long as the Chicago Park District owns Soldier Field and allows other non-sporting events to take place there, it's useless as tits on a fish. The field has been in shit condition since they took the astroturf away. Ridliculous amount of money paid for sod. Paying for the synthetic would pay for it self after 2 go arounds with replacing the sod.

http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0,6170875.story Will Ta’ufo’ou was waived. The plan for now is using Adams in the backfield some. It's not to big of a deal to me since we rarely used a FB anyway.

he earned the cash today. Looks unstoppable. Oh and all you analysts eat shite..... Urlacher, Melton, Peppers, Okoye fantastic......

Its not too often that NFL teams can have 3 former head coaches as assistant coaches for 2 consecutive seasons as usually someone comes a callin' for their services. This unique situation we have here is something that we should watch closely. As most of the nation think the Bears are a luck based bunch, the fact that these 3 guys have coached up a couple of players on this team speaks volumes for their expertise. Martz: He obviously has had a positive effect on Jay Cutler with him getting in the best shape of his career even during a lockout offseason and he clearly has a grasp of what Martz is trying to do which makes me wonder if the 2 had secret meetings during th…

Nick Roach is clueless and our Core isnt aging backwards... Wonder what they expect to get for him.. I find it hard to believe hes a bust considering how awful Seattle really is

http://espn.go.com/chicago/nfl/story/_/id/...-due-fear-sacks espn article talking about Cutler hearing footsteps from no protection. this is not good. if the oline does not figure it out soon this could get ugly.

With 324 yards rushing and 310 receiving and the Bears having a total of 1231 net yards he is clearly the kingpin of this offense. The longer the team waits the more costly it will be for them to sign him. As he spoke to Waddle and Silvy on AM 1000 ESPN todfay he said that even though he is trying to play through it, that its a distraction. He says he wants to be with a team that appreciates what he does. I agree!!

EOM

It's that time of year again, kids, where I say "let's get TO" and only a few agree with me. This time around Wilbon agrees with me and makes some very good points. http://espn.go.com/chicago/nfl/story/_/id/...e-terrell-owens BTW - 72 catches, 900+ yards, 9TDs last year in less than a full season for the miserable Bengals franchise. And he's not a better option than Sanzenbacher, Williams, Bennett, Knox, or Hester?! C'mon. At the very least Angelo should be making a pitch. And if TO causes problems, no harm done. Cut him. Doesn't fit the system? Who cares?! Most of you don't like it anyway, and it's plainly obvious that Martz is not even running the…
