Owners Reports that the owners have put enough money away to sustain them in the event the entire season is lost. Players State that it's obvious the owners were planning on locking out the players regardless. Mildly ironic that the players are judging the owners for the same thing the NFLPA advised the players to do during the season. Owners Reports that the players didn't even look at the final offer before decertification. Leading owners to believe decertification was in the plans all along. I found this hilarious. Everyone talks about how good the Patriots are and everything so much it makes most of us sick. So check this out. My information is from NFLDraftBible on Twitter. Between 2005-2008 the Patriots had a total of 26 picks and hit on just 3 of them. (Meriweather/Mayo/D. Thomas) He refuses to call Gostkowski a hit because he was a 4th rd pick where Brandon Marshall was selected just after him and Elvis Dumervil and also Ray Edwards later in the rd. He refuses to call a 4th rd pick on a Kicker a hit. I tend to agree with him as we have a better Kicker and he was undrafted. Just saying.

Tiki Barber Who wouldn't want a 36 year old running back who retired 4 years ago? Looks like the analyst gig wasn't working out.

This is the worst one I've found, but I haven't done a ton of searching. http://newnfldraft.com/ 1st: WR - Baldwin, Pitt 2nd: DE - Romerus, Pitt 3rd: OT - DeChristopher, VT 4th: OLB - Robinson, Temple I hate it. Big East, ACC, Atlantic-10. Yuck. I dare you to find one worse!

Like others here, I've started to look to the draft and we've seen a lot of names thrown out. Any guys that are potential targets for the Bears you really want them to stay away from? I'll start: Jon Baldwin, WR, Pitt. Seems like the big WR the Bears need and may be around when the Bears pick in the first, but he doesn't make anyone miss, looks like a TE when he runs, and he body-catches way too much (even when he catches with his hands, he seems to need to hold the ball against his body to steady it). Mix in attitude/maturity concerns and I'm out. I'm also weary of Mike Pouncey in the first. I think if his name was Mike Jones, he'd be a third round pick.

  18. There is only one coach-GM tandem in Bear history that is more successful than Lovie and JA and that is Ditka and Finks. The problem is when Ditka was hired the "Ole Man" stepped in and stepped on Finks toes basically forcing Ditka down Finks' throat since Ditka as a Dallas assistant wrote a letter to Halas campaigning for the HC job. That made their time together only 2 years. The "Ole Man" also stepped on Ditka's toes by hiring the defensive coordinator(Buddy Ryan) before hiring the head coach. Since the man that hired Finks, George "Mugsy" Halas Jr had passed away Jim Finks felt betrayed and left the organization during the 83 season and had a short lived stint with th…
