Are you a diehard Chicago Bears fan? If so, you've found the spot to discuss all things Chicago Bears. Discuss the Monster of the Midway right here as the Bears look to get back on track in 2024 and take the North and never give it back! Flaming is not allowed and all such posts will be deleted. Try to keep it clean and most importantly BEAR DOWN! #BEARS #CHICAGOBEARS #BEARDOWN

  1. 1. We need to get rid of Kreutz and Garza they are old and can block well anymore. Get Mankins as a FA and draft a center 2. We need to get a WR like TO, Fitzgerald, Ocho Cinco, V.Jackson, Moss, Rice, someone that can be a no#1. Draft either A. Brown(southern miss) or Baldwin(Pitt) 3. Get a true man playing corner like Bailey or Asomugha. Jennings to short and Tillman getting old and slow 4. Use the Damn play book to use the screens, passes to the RB(Forte over 500 yrds) use the big TEs Olsen & Davis is jump ball in the red zone. 5 Use Hester on both kick offs and punt returns.

Bears offseason priorities IMO: 1 Take care of their own a.) Olin Kreutz - ask him if he can go for 2 more yrs, he's not playing for anyone else. He said he may retire b.) Caleb Haine - Still not a guy you want running the helm if Jay goes down for long, but not much out there better c.) Pisa Tinoisamoa - Solid guy next to Url/Briggs. Remember the SLB takes on more blocks and thats the scheme. d.) Corey Graham - Can fill in spot duty at CB, but great ST. Worth an extension imo e.) Daniel Manning - Seems like he's becoming "demanding", make a minium offer. Hate to see him returning against us. f.) Anthony Adams - He seemed to run out of gas later in th…

  5. http://www.chicagobreakingsports.com/2011/...-criticism.html Staff report Nearly a week after the Bears' heartbreaking loss to the Green Bay Packers, Pro-Bowl linebacker Brian Urlacher is still baffled by the criticism of quarterback Jay Cutler by current and former players. Urlacher, appearing Friday morning on the WMVP-AM 1000's "Waddle & Silvy Show," said the shots on Twitter from the likes of the Jacksonville Jaguars' Maurice Jones Drew "pissed" him off. "Anyone who knows Jay and has played with Jay and seen the hits he's taken…

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/...ackers-to-lose/ Shocker: Brian Urlacher wants the Packers to lose Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on January 28, 2011, 4:01 PM EST Yeah, we know. Of course Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher isn’t going to be rooting for the Packers on Super Bowl Sunday. It’s still fun to hear a player genuinely dislike the team that just beat him. “Hell no, I’m not rooting for the Packers in the Super Bowl,” Urlacher said on ESPN 1000 Friday. “I have a ton of respect for that organization and the head coach, but I don’t want them to win the Super Bowl. They’re in our division, I want them to lose.” Thank you, Brian. That’s h…

  7. http://www.nesn.com/2011/01/sources-larry-...ight-price.html Hellllooo? Don't know what they would be asking. I know the Lions got a 1st and 3rd out of Roy Williams so I think the bidding would start there. How about a 1st and Johnny Knox? This would be a dream come true if Larry Fitzgerald fell into our laps. Best WR in the game today.

Sports May 16, 2008 ATMLiesOxygenJulioSearchRoyalsSongENGLEWOOD, Colo. – Jay Cutler entered the cafeteria at the Denver Broncos' training facility Thursday afternoon, a notebook full of offensive alignments in one hand and a small, black zip-up pouch in the other. I was far more interested in the pouch: a kit containing a lancet device, blood-glucose meter and test strips – the tools for drawing blood from a fingertip and checking his blood sugars. After sitting down at a table, the strong-armed quarterback placed th…

  9. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/...hness-demeanor/ Passionate Madden defends Cutler’s toughness, demeanor Posted by Mike Florio on January 28, 2011, 12:05 AM EST Hall of Fame coach John Madden recently joined Adam Schein and Rich Gannon of Sirius NFL Radio to discuss the hottest issue of the week — the injury to Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, whether he could have played with the injury, and whether his demeanor suggested that he cared about the fact that he was missing the second half of the biggest game of his life. In defending Cutler, Madden was passionate, emotional, and as angry as we’ve ever heard him. “I’ve been in football for over 50 …

This is not supposed to fill your thoughts and needs for the Bears. This is to see if you can predict what JA will do in the draft (per az's challenge). My prediction of JA's picks: 1 - DB - Ras-I-Dowling - Virginia - JA thinks that other positions can wait, and all the Bears defense needs is a shutdown corner. Cutler stumbles. 2 - DT - Stephen Paea - Oregon State - Regardless of what he thinks/says, JA can't resist grabbing a DT. Cutler drops a single tear, then faints. 3 - OT - Marcus Gilbert - Florida - Even JA realizes that the OL needs some help. Cutler fist pumps...from his back. 4 - FS - Jaiquann Jarrett - Temple - Let's see, bad instincts, not v…

Lovie Smith and Co. Week 17: You milk it the 2nd half and basically let your arch rival into the playoffs. Horrible offensive playcalling (Martz), however defense was great 95% of game. Divisional Playoff: Great game all around, then your OC calls a halfback pass... we all know NFC Championship: Arch rival comes to town and hands you your ass for 35minutes. Your QB gets hurt and you bring in a guy who couldnt complete a pass in flag football. OC terrible playcalling majority of game. 3rd and 3 on a game tying drive, you call a reverse to a slow WR, and an Olin you knpw dam well cant get to the second level.. You have a RB who besides Greg Jennings, is ha…

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S3y6U8hlNu0 Hope you guys enjoy this, 7 minutes of highlights from this season, pretty much any big play you can think of is on here. What are some of your favorite plays? Which stick out the most from the video that didn't get "enough" love during the season? I love Earl Bennet's catch vs Detroit where he rumbled on for like 20 extra yards.

I want to add in a random fact. Type 1 diabetics are told they should not(only in a worse case situation would they) take cortisone shots. A local radio show out here had a doctor on talking about it. Geeze, guy goes out and plays 3 series on a torn MCL (grade 2 sprain) without any pain killers. Thats a f***ing man!
