Interesting. Michael Sinclair will be the asst DL coach, and comes over from Trestman's staff in Montreal. Remember him? Seahawks and Eagles? All Pro '96 '97 '98? Led the NFL in sacks in 1998 Was DL coach for World Bowl winning Hamburg in 2007 Joined Trestman in Montreal in 2008 and won 2 of 5 Grey Cups with a 3rd losing appearance in the same stretch. Not bad.

When I mean by cheap is someone under 3 mil that could help us out. I want to throw out the first name; Brandon Moore-OG-Jets it is 33 and had a great year. I think he could be a Ruben Brown type that could help us for a couple of years. The Jets are 26 mil over the salary cap, so I think we can grab him here.

After reading Brad Briggs, he lives Bears football he states our cap to be 10.9 We cut spaeth,Davis, Hester, Mannley and that gives us 8.2 mill to add to the pie. Adam suggested some of the bottom of the roster guys can give us another 2 mil. Per Twitter: Mike Garafolo ‏@MikeGarafolo 50 mins It's been relatively quiet on the Long front. Bears and Rams believed to be among the most interested. We'll see. The Trib says the Bears are also looking at Bushrod and Cook and might have to choose between the two. I say if the Bears can get out of FA with either Long or Bushrod, I'd consider it a success. I'd even pay a little more for Long, all things being equal. I don't love Cook, and think it might be more prudent to sign a second-tier potential starter at TE (I've always liked Delanie Walker) and spend the extra $ at LT and look at TE and OG in the first round of the draft.
