Had good seats for tonights game here's my observations. I tried to key on some players throughout the game. Watching the TV broadcast (which just started) will give me a different perspective. We owned half the stadium tonight. I was surprised at how many Trubisky jerseys were being worn. All the talk back in the summer of all Bears fans hating that draft pick don't appear to be true. I don't think they all got purchased this past week. Offense: Glennon sucks. The play calling was clearly designed to get him, and perhaps the entire offense, into a comfort zone early on with some positive plays. It was disappointing to suffer through that. Once …

Browns Release Pryor I know many people here had interest in him at draft time. Is he worth a look? Is Jackson enough promise to not think about it? In my opinion, we have had such a hole at that position that you could never have enough competition. However, this guy couldnt stick with the Jets and Browns so that is a glaring sign haha

Beautiful day down by the lakefront. Here is what I saw: - A lot more Falcons fans than should have been and some empty seats which you usually don't see for the first game. - Way too many short passes from Glennon. If this trend continues, Tarik Cohen will be a dead man. - Speaking of Cohen, he is the real deal. However good he looked on TV, he looked even better in person. - Loved seeing the fullback rush for a first down. Great play call. - Defense played well except for the two busted TE completions. Jeremy Langford was released by Baltimore today. That didn't last long. Since Howard has a shoulder injury and Cunningham a knee, should the Bears reach back out to Langford? Can a free agent be signed to the practice squad or does he have to be on the active roster? He knows the offense and if Howard shoulder doesn't improve, Langford can step in and be at least better as a receiver. If we can sign him to the PS, I am for it.

Similar injury as what Freeman was lost for the year on. Brutal since they were are two starters...2 weeks into the season and the injuries really piling up (2nd consecutive year). Football is such a brutal sport.

Pace has taken a lot of heat by his overall draft: Trubisky, I dont think many will complain about actually taking MT its the trading up the one spot that deserves criticism Shaneen has yet to produce but being a 2nd round pick , you expect more this spot in the draft. -The WR's/TE's can't catch. Marshall had 2 drops today as did Kellen Davis. For the Oline specialists out there what are your thoughts on James Brown? In his first couple games he was getting pushed around a lot, he still needs to improve his strength IMO. Lately he seems to settling into the role at LG and I thought he played ok today. Cutler had a lot of time to throw throughout the game and as someone who has watched more Cards games than most they do have a good pass rush. We still can't open holes inside for the running game but did seal the edge a few times for some nice gains. Is there potential for this guy to be on the roster next year? Better than Spencer/EWilliams at LG?
