... It seemed like a feeding frenzy for OL and WR's. There was some teams I thought drafted like they were sitting at the buffet table at all you can eat restaurant. I was pretty much busy all day but checking in periodically not wanting to miss our 2nd rnd pick. Unfortunately it was not in the cards. It seems Angelo tried to trade for Boldin but Az. wanted to much. Even though it would have been nice, but no dice. I would have loved Sean Smith at 49, but I like this trade as well. Michael Johnson or Duke Robinson at 68, and then go WR at 99 AND 105. Thoughts?

At the beginning of the second round, the Bears told Ohio safety Michael Mitchell to stay by his phone because they planned to draft him at No. 49. But the Raiders beat them to it, taking Mitchell two spots earlier. Cleveland took Robiskie and Massaquoi, so does that mean that Edwards could be had with a 3th this year and a 3rd next year maybe?

Louis Delmas Would look great in a Bears Jersey, especially since we have a more experienced Aaron Rodgers, Percy Harvin, Pettigout and Stafford to contend with next year.

Very intersting. Angelo did say it isn't like the Cutler talks, specifically mentioning that it isn't just the compensation, but the money which is an issue. Pay close attention to this one though, imo.

On ESPN1000, JD just reported that we really want Derrick Williams out of Penn State at 49. Yuck. Give me MoMass over Williams.

Talking w/ a fellow bear fan, and he brought up Michael Johnson. At one time, we seemed to be tied to MJ w/ our top pick. Since then we traded away our pick, but also, MJ seems to have slip. I told him I do not think he will slide all the way to our pick, but his arrow does seem to be pointing down as Kiper, McShay and Mayock all have him falling past us. Anyway, what are ya'lls thoughts. Top two knocks on him appear to be that he is still a bit raw and he may never be great against the run. At the same time, he would appear to be an ideal fit for us. We have a scheme that places speed above run stoppers. We have one of the top DL coaches in the league. Oh …

Is there any way trading our second and another round pick isnt a no-brainer. 1st off, past Robiski, i dont see the WR at 49 to be worth much of anything. Boldin has like 4 years left of production and a with a great QB, the rest of our bums will probably be 100x better. I think we take the absolute best player available then at 99 and fill our holes with the late rounds. And for god sakes draft a FB, Sutherland would be my choice....
