The Chicago Bears signed receiver Raymond Radway to the practice squad on Tuesday. To make room for Radway, the Bears released receiver Joe Anderson from the practice squad. A standout at Abilene Christian University, Radway (6-foot-3, 198 pounds) was cut on Oct by the Cowboys.

-The WR's/TE's can't catch. Marshall had 2 drops today as did Kellen Davis. Hester and Jeffery EACH dropped a TD. -Cutler didn't play well although drops never help. -Even though the OL is playing alright, they had a hold and then a false start on the one drive after Forte had a long run + a personal foul. -Forte had 85 yards on 13 carries. Only 13 carries? Why even sign him to an extension then?

If you like Oline play check out this screenshot of a Jordan Howard run late in the 4th quarter that helped win the game over the Vikings. This is inside 4min, Vikings know we're going to run and the box is stacked with 8 defenders and everyone else keyed into what Howard does at the snap. Our Oline blocks it well, Howard reads it well, and we gain 11yds for a 1st down. We have to start giving more credit to our TEs as well because both Paulsen and Miller are doing a good job blocking. Congrats to this young man for earning a starting opportunity in Week 3 of the preseason. I've been complimentary of him the last couple weeks and it seems he done as well or better in practice this week with the 1st team. Looks like Harrison is taking this offseason more seriously than last. Judging by the picture here he's in better shape than anytime I saw him last season. The Bears are about $4M over the cap, need $5M for operating space and $8-10M for draft picks. Let's just say that is $20M. The Bears can gain over $35M in cap space with these 3 transactions: 1. Cut Edmunds - pre-June 1st, save $15M (only $2.4M Dead cap) 2. Trade Moore - pre-June 1st, save $16.5M ($12M in Dead cap) or restructure that can save approximately $15M. 3. ok, i have made my opinions on keeping moore in past threads. i don't have the time or resources to go through a 3 year span of his games in chicago but if this is the argument that he quits on plays or is too expensive then someone needs to do the 'receivers' comparison to realistically back up your opinions or they are just a knee jerk reaction. 1. Much focus is put on the Glennon show but there were a couple good things in the Tampa game. Eddie Jackson...still a rookie and still learning but he looks like a long term starter for us. On more than one occasion he ended up arriving at the WR with the ball. Given our CBs were Cooper and Fuller I was worried about DeSean Jackson having a big day. Another WR off the board.

Since Amos is going to get paid 6-8 mil a year, I don't see him back. He has played well but isn't a playmaker, so that should not be hard to replace. Bush is the obvious choice and may do well, but keep this name in mind. Clayton Geathers, 6.2 220 , had 87 tackles last year with 3 PDs and 1 forced fumble. He was drafted by Pagano in Indy and will not command a big contract.

So let's assume Robinson has to walk, or gets franchised and traded. Who would you pick up for a replacement? Ideally I'd like Golladay but he'd cost about as much as Robinson. Another idea is Sammy Watkins.
