Bears picks: 20. Chicago Bears: Alec Ogletree, ILB, Georgia 50. Chicago Bears: Kyle Long, OT, Oregon 114. Chicago Bears: Travis Kelce, TE, Cincinnati http://walterfootball.com/draft2013.php Seems to be pretty logical, addresses 3 spots of need, and they all seem to be decent picks for the slot.

Watching ATL at SF. It seems like on every play, the receiver who catches the ball is WIDE open. Where are the defenses this post season?

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1483161...the-web/page/21 Richardson is the guy who destroyed Fluker - But way undersized unless he is a DE (hint hint 3-4) I think we address the LT in Free Agency and get a new LB corp.

DJ Fluker: 6'4 7/8, 355 pounds, 36" 3/8 arms, 10" 1/4 hands, 87" wingspan. Think he's going 1st round now? Wow, impressive. Denard Robinson also has the biggest hands of any WR there.

Its easy to beat a dead horse, but after watching the Division Championship games, I wanted to draw this comparison Halfway thru the NFC CHampionship game, this popped into my head: The value of a recieving TE today Compiled through 8 quarters of Football yesterday, the TEs produced: Vernon Davis: 6-106-1TD Tony Gonzales: 8-78-1TD Aaron Hernandez: 9-83 Dennis Pitta: 7-55-1TD ------------------------------------ 30 Receptions - 322 Yards - 3TDs 2012---- Kellen Davis: 19-229-2TDs Matt Spaeth: 6-28-1TD 25 Receptions - 257 Yards - 3TDs and neither one of them can block worth shit.... If this isnt a need, I dont know what is.... 4th o…

I don't think this has been posted yet but here's PFFs list of potential free agent offensive tackles and their PFF grade.. https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2013/...ensive-tackles/ 6 of the guys with positive grades are LTs Ryan Clady +26.9 - With P. Manning there I can't see him going no where Will Beatty +22.4 - If New York can restructure some contracts he'll be back Branden Albert +13.8 -Chatter in KC is they may take Joeckel 1st and Albert doesn't wanna move to guard. Sam Baker +11.6 -Can't find anything King Dunlap +7.1 -Probably a goner Jermon Bushrod +1.5 -Probably a goner J'marcus Webbs grade?? 0.…

With the new coach on board i was looking at our roster and noticed that we signed three more WR's to our group. They are listed below Golden runs a 4.32 and could be a deep threat if Knox can't play again. Moss and Toliver are big like Jeffery and Marshall and could fit in behind the two and develop. With Marshall,Jeffrey,Bennett,Hester on the roster we at least need to keep one of these three IMHO or we can trade Weems and Hester for J Cribbs from the Browns Brittan Golden 6-0 185 Dale Moss 6-3 213 Terrence Toliver 6-5 204

Round1 - Alec Ogletree ILB Ga - With Urlachers days numbered, the Bears need to find a new center fielder to cover the middle. Emery has also stated that in round 1, he wants players that can win you games and be the difference maker. I think his speed/athletism will be a big boost to an aging D. They can opt to hold back and take someone like Fluker or Jones and have a solid player, but they are not known as players that can win games by themselves. I think going D in round 1 will give the Bears the freedom to use the rest of the draft rebuild the offense. Round2 - Trade to San Fransico for two 3rds, a 4th, and a 5th. San Fran had an abundance of picks anywa…

I loves me a 3-4 defense, I hate the Packers but seeing their 3-4 2 times a year makes me feel like I'm missing out almost. Seeing Clay Matthews wild girly lookin self running wild is something I would love to see our undersized "DE" 1st round draft pick of last year SMC (Until he does something I refuse to learn how to spell his name) do to squeeze more value out of him. With the money they have, they need to bring Melton and Roach back and a LT must be brought in (unless they feel comfortable with Webb in a new scheme) to make this work. With that said they would have to make the change to a 3-4 through the draft by grabbing another LB and a monster DT.....IF Emery and …

From PFF: https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2013/...ight-ends-yprr/ Kellen Davis was the 2nd to last in YPRR out of 52 qualifying TE's. Olsen was 5th best, sigh. Davis needs to be cut, and TE needs to be a priority along with OL in FA and the draft. Not that you didn't know this, just more confirmation of how bad Davis was/is.

So this article caught my attention yesterday: http://www.twincities.com/vikings/ci_22440...r-bill-callahan Although I'm not quite sure what happened in reading this article Trestman's silence is worth noting. That and stories that have circulated that Trestman has been difficult to work with in the past could gain traction and especially explain why he didn't get his chance in the big time until as of late. I can tell you that Callahan is in fact a pile of dung. Being a follower of Nebraska football I can tell you between he and AD Peterson in the early 2000's they knocked Nebraska football back a few years by tinkering with what worked for decades. Call…

Lets say we pick up nobody in FAgency, then who should we draft. Our weaknesses are OL,OL,OL, TE, MLB. so lets do a draft. #1 Lane Johnson/OT/Oak A slight drop below the top 2 but worthy of a pick here, will not make it out of the first round. #2 Larry Warford/OG/Ken A load for a guard with a good pick at 2 #4 Travis Kelce/TE/Cinn A good pass catching TE #5 Jake Johnson/MLB/Sou Ala A highly productive small school player with speed and production that could be a steal drafted here. #6 David Bass/DE/MWS Another highly productive small school player, drafting this low, you take a chance Conclusion- we needed to …
