Are you a diehard Chicago Bears fan? If so, you've found the spot to discuss all things Chicago Bears. Discuss the Monster of the Midway right here as the Bears look to get back on track in 2024 and take the North and never give it back! Flaming is not allowed and all such posts will be deleted. 1. https://nflmocks.com/2018/02/04/chicago-bea...on-to-the-wind/ There are a couple of moves I do not agree with but overall a pretty good off season. Trading Bullard for a 5th, not a good idea. Drafting James Daniels/OC with #22 seems like a reach. Not cutting Cooper. Otherwise, like the overall picture.

This is the worst mock I've seen in a long time. 1.Joshua Jackson, CB, Iowa 2.Harold Landry, DE/OLB, Boston College 4.D.J. Moore, WR, Maryland 4.Anthony Miller, WR, Memphis 5.Blace Brown, CB, Troy With the same configuration of picks, the better options are nearly limitless. With little effort, there is this: 1.Orlando Brown, OT, Oklahoma 2.James Washington, WR, Oklahoma State 4.Lorenzo Carter, DE/OLB, Georgia 4.Kevin Toliver, CB, LSU 5.Uchenna Nwosu, DE/OLB, USC Or maybe this, if the Bears are dead set on using their pick on the perceived best CB: 1.Joshua Jackson, CB, Iowa 2.Arden Key, DE/OLB, LSU 4.Martinas Rankin, OT, Mississ…

I think it is way to early to "grade" the coaching changes, but I get a kick out of people loving the Gruden move. The dude hasn't coached in years and inherited two pretty good teams between OAK and TB when he did coach. I like the story for him going back to OAK, but besides that, I think he will be average in Oakland. For the others, I am ok with Nagy and a B-, young coordinator, etc, etc, but with him grading Reich and Shurmur higher than Nagy seems that he made the grades more about coaching experience than anything else. https://sports.yahoo.com/grading-seven-nfl-...-161240625.html

It's been announced that we will play the Ravens in the hall of fame game this yr. I think I saw it's slated for Aug 3. I like having that 5th preseason game with the new coaching staff and gives trubisky even more game reps

http://www.espn.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/...ing-sua-cravens Could be had for at worst for the Bears a 3rd rounder according to this article. Given the concern, it probably would make sense to start with a 6th as an initial offer. I bet the Bears and Skins could meet in the middle for the Bears early 4th rounder. It's a risk, but it could be a huge reward and the ILB of the future. We already know he can play in the NFL. The same can't be said for most 4th rounders.

There is several teams that need cap space that have bloated contracts for some players. This is a list of potential releases, do we want any of them. Oakland- Michael Crabtree had a bad year, not all his fault but is due 8.25 and cutting him will save Oak 7.7 mil Ravens- Jerry Maclin had a bad year and is due 7.5 mil, they would save 5 mil by cutting him. N.O. - Coby Fleener is due 8.1 mil for his 22 recs. and 2 TDs Miami- JuWuan James/OT is due 9.2 mil coming off an injury prone season. they are going to rescind his 5th year option. 25 years old RT Jets- Muhammad Wilkerson/DT can save 17 mil by designated him a June 1st cut. I think Ja…

We still have Floyd which hopefully takes the next step forward but after him: McPhee--------gone saves 7.1 Young---------- save 4.5 at 32, probably gone Irwin------------just a cheap prospect Jones-----------just a cheap prospect I think we should bring in Houston, younger and cheaper than keeping Young. Resign Christian Jones to backup both inside and out Resign Sam Ocho, reliable backup. In FA: Junior Galette-----on a prove it economical contract Aaron Lynch-------young with upside Trent Murphy------- coming off an injury with upside Adrian Clayborn----- at 29 a good player but probably doesnt fit P…

Hope this helps with our injury problems, certainly can't hurt: Bears hire Andre Tucker as head athletic trainer, Jason Loscalzo as strength coach Washington State strength and conditioning coach Jason Loscalzo to join Chicago Bears

  11. A fun what if game. Their draft position is ridiculous this year. What would you do with their two first rounders and three second rounders? No trade downs allowed. It's odd because we have Trubisky, which eliminates QB. 1.1 - Quenton Nelson, OG, ND - Best pick that fits that early. 1.4 - Bradley Chubb, DE/OLB, NCST - Whichever position, there needs to be a Floyd counterpart. 2.33 - Brown/Williams/McGlinchey, OT - Whichever slips to the first pick of the second round. 2.35 - Courtland Sutton, WR, SMU - Who Kevin White should have been. 2.64 - Christian Kirk, WR, TXA&M - Let's solve this WR issue right TF now by doubling up with a guy nicknamed Baby …

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300000091...s-just-business Interesting story. Hopefully, this doesn't impact one of the teams in front of the Bears. My hope is Cousins goes to someone like Jacksonville and McCarron doesn't go to Browns, Broncos, or Jets.

For those concerned about the lack of trade down options this is interesting. This can be disinformation to help motivate someone to trade up for Mayfield (Buffalo?). Then again they also traded away Ajayi mid-season for reasons unknown. I don't think anybody can predict where this organization is headed right now. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/...re-his-pro-day/

Landry Tagged That pretty much takes him off the table, not that he couldn't wind up somewhere besides Miami it's more complicated. Perhaps they tagged him to buy time to work out a long term deal, and if someone wants to pony up they get compensated. With him and Robinson likely getting tagged the list of FA targets (no pun intended) is starting to shrink.

Trade down with Buffalo to 21 & 22 mandatory. ALABAMA 1. Calvin Ridley, WR 1. Rashaan Evans, ILB 2. Anthony Averett, CB 4. Da'Shawn Hand, 3-4DE 4. Tony Brown, CB 5. Robert Foster, WR 6.
