I hate the Packers!!!! But as much as I do hate the packers they had a game plan that worked..they took Marshall and Jeffrey out of the game. The Bears played awful but I dont blame the team I will put this one the coaches. You and I both know we needed to block Mathews....did we do it...no! Game plan...hello! Did we even throw a screen pass all game..oh yes one.Did we make the LB'S defend our TE'S...oh yes and we scored the only TD with a pass to the TE that they could not defend, sure we missed a few. I IMHO think that they will be better than they were last year due to Martz leaving and players back from injury. They were doing well at the mid point of the season having a few games I think without giving up a sack. Based on the cap space, pending free agents and projected draft picks, this is what the team has to do in the offseason (based on starters only): These are the 6 positions based on free agents or health that absolutely need a new starter in 2020: RG, TE, Edge, ILB, CB, S, if you add performance, you would have to add LT, RT, LG, and DE in there. 1. O-Line, RG is a hole and LT needs to be addressed in some way. Due to contracts we are stuck with Leno, Daniel, and Massie to go with Whitehair. So it seems that the offseason moves have improved pretty much every facet of the team. If you look at it from a high level, on offense, the passing game should be improved, and at worst, the running game should be the same. The Bears added Moore, Wright, and Davis, as well as Foreman, Johnson, Scott, and Tonyan, and really only "lost" Montgomery since losing Mustipher is an upgrade in itself. If the offense is better and has some additional TOP, then the defense will be a little more rested and potentially get off the field a few more times. On defense, the run defense was historically bad. With the additions to the DLine and LB Corps, the run defense should be…

Watching the youngsters improve as the game went along was enjoyable. There is still room to grow but there are quite a few positives coming out of this game and I think the Oline's confidence will be much higher this weekend.
