So the average of those 4 units is #10. So I don't know what you think of Caleb Williams, the Bears RBs, Santos and Taylor, but they are all at least top half of the league. So saying the Bears have a top 10 roster is not a stretch at all. The Bears also have the 3rd easiest schedule. The 127 pick overall . . . I like Paea. I hope it's worth giving up a 4th to go up 8 spots. We must not like the 4th round very much. We seem determined to get out of it. Either that or we plan on trading down our 3rd to get back in it (that seems more likely) I can't believe we'd have taken Paea if the Chiefs had drafted Carimi. Weird. Weird, weird, weird.

Looks as though the Jets could be shopping both DT Sheldon Richardson and S Calvin Pryor today. I believe last year we were interested in Richardson (?) but they wanted too much. Now he might be had for a fourth (which we have extra of). As far as the financials go, not sure how feasible it would be. So Allen Robinson is who we thought he was. Has anyone else watch the Rams games? He is literally jogging routes out there and barely blocks the refs. In 4 games, he has 9 receptions and 95 yards and is on pace for 38 receptions and 400 yds receiving. I am sure it will go up but not that much. He will probably end up with a season similar to last season's loaf-a-thon. The sad part is he would lead the Bears in receptions! That is how bad the passing attack has been. Somewhere Dowell Loggains is smiling.

So after limited targets, they finally got Moore going. He now has 301 receiving yards (14th) and is on pace for 81 receptions, 1,279 yards and 9 TDs. This includes a game where Fields only passed for 99 yards. 15 of his 19 receptions have gone for 1st downs. He is trending in the right direction, which is nice to see considering the season.

We choked in the first game and got our ass kicked in the 2nd. Prior to the season beginning we had the discussion of how long it would take for the Ben Johnson team to take shape. Nobody on this board said it would be instant. We agreed it would be between week six and eight weeks before the offense would click. We never really discussed how long it would take the defense. Defense usually happens faster as but we have had a lot of injuries to hinder the process. Who predicted we would win the division? None of us. Caleb got better this week. That's all that counts.

Most of the Bears’ 2012 schedule is pretty well set now that they and other third-place teams are set. From the NFC West the Bears have Seattle and St. Louis coming to Soldier Field, plus Carolina from the NFC South and Houston and Indianapolis from the AFC South. They will travel to play Arizona, San Francisco, Jacksonville and Tennessee. And the Bears would go to Dallas. Along with playing the Packer, Lions and Vikings twice. I will go on record now saying that with a few players in FA and the draft .....the Bears are looking at least an 11-5 season

I was in Vegas for that debacle and just got home. Thankfully, I only threw away $15 in bets on that turd sandwich. I sense the frustration on this board and in the fans I ran into this Monday. In my first summary of the KC game I stated that this team seemed organized. That was especially true for a new staff, new players, all running new systems and many coaches are in new roles. In his post-game press conference Eberflus was asked about that and this article sums up the preparation that went into that. One item he said that isn't in the article is that the decision to go for it on 4th down late in the game was given to Getsy early. Eberflus told him at the start of that set of downs if he gets to 4th and 3 or less he's going for it. Four time last to first. Home game, I don't care who we are playing. And I don't remember the last game we had. Well I kinda do and it really sucked. But I think this team can beat anyone when all cylinders are hitting. It's gonna be tough but we can beat any team any where it they are. DaBears!!!
