http://www.chicagobears.com/multimedia/mul...clip=Y&rn=3 "I thought the deal was fair then" "I knew Id be here 3 years in" What an ass. The deal was fair when he signed it, but He knew he'd be at this point 3 years in. "If I play at X amount of dollars this then Im asked to play for half that, my play doesnt decrease" WTF does that mean.... Then he talks about CAP situation? Asshole. Lance: You were paid well when u signed the deal.. u have earned what...20M since? Gimme a break. PS: The sniffles also show he is well aware he is being rediculous and management laughed under its breath, because he can't give an answer that has some backing. All…

http://theredzone.org/BlogDescription/tabi...in/Default.aspx anyone have any news?

I never realized how many players are free agents next year. My guess is that we'll see some mid season extensions to go against this years cap. That will leave additional money to make splashes, if needed. I'm not a cap guy, but it makes sense to my limited knowledge. Thoughts?

Giveaway for 3 pretty cool Bears designs, thought I would share it with you guys. BEAR DOWN! http://www.chicitysports.com/2011/10/08/be...y-benchmob-com/

A guy at my office just said he overhead on the radio (this in LA mind you...) that this game is being thought of in similar fashion for the Lions as the 1st game back from Katrina was for the Saints. He said he wanted to puke. (This guy's a Ravens fan BTW). Katrina and NO is one thing, but this is something else. The hype is in full force. Bear down!

Let's beat these clowns! C'mon Bears! Bear down!!!!

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/...ain-in-seattle/ No Tim Ruskell first-round picks remain in Seattle Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on October 13, 2011, 11:03 AM EDT ReutersDrafting poorly is the quickest way to sink a franchise. There is little debate over whether Tim Ruskell drafted poorly while he was team president of the Seahawks. Only nine players remain from the 2005-2009 drafts when Ruskell was in charge. The best player among them? Probably Brandon Mebane. Danny O’Neil of the Seattle Times notes that no first-round picks are left from the Ruskell years. Cornerback Kelly Jennings was traded for a roast beef sandwich before the season.…

2012 home opponents: Seattle, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Houston, Minnesota, Green Bay, Detroit (if my calculations are correct, their last home opponent will be from the NFC South [example: if the Bears finish 2nd in the North, they'll play whoever finishes 2nd in the South at home]) 2012 road opponents: Tennessee, Jacksonville, San Francisco, Arizona, Minnesota, Green Bay, Detroit (their last road opponent will be from the NFC East) All of this is from Brad Biggs' column today, except the stuff that's in parentheses.
