Trade every player not on a rookie deal outside of ARob. I would put Turdbisky on IR and would even consider firing Nagy. Let Pagano take over and bring Vic back as DC.

Jared Goff is in a much worse place than Trubisky. He looks to be rattled and a shell of who he was last year. Since the Superbowl he has been a turnover machine and highly ineffective. My expectation is that Pagano dial up the pressure to the point of taxing our secondary. If Goff succeeds, it will have to be via big play. I honestly don't care if we get in a couple of excessive hits along the way. If we rattle Goff early, we have a chance. It's simply what teams have been doing to Trubisky. Let the least rattled win!

This sucks. One of the loopholes to the Practice Squads. As long as players are signed to 53-man rosters, you can lose your PS players. We just lost Whyte. Surprised we didn't put Trevathan on IR immediately and brought Whyte up. He was a 7th Round Pick.

We needed MIN, CAR, and DAL to lose. Well DEN is up 3 against MIN, CAR is being shutout by ATL, and DAL is up by 10+ against DET. So CAR is definitely a loss, MIN can still lose, and it looks like DAL will win easily. Let's go Broncos! How about the epic QB matchup with Jackson and Watson? Jackson has 4 TDs and is borderline unstoppable. Watson? Not so much. Thru the mid-4th, he is 18-29 (62%), 169 yds, 1 INT, 6 sacks, 1 FL. Watch the media on Watson, they will point to a bad O-Line, etc, etc. Nothing like Trubisky gets when he has a game like this. The funny thing is, Watson has had several games with less than 200 yards passing and several multi-turnover…

Burton to IR, finally making some moves, a little late, but I guess late is better than never:

So it looks like the league set up a tryout for Kaepernick on Saturday. Kind of odd, but the Bears need to send someone there just to kick the tires.

Wow, what a crazy play. Suspended indefinitely. Rudolph is an idiot as well, but man, Garrett went way over the line with the helmet hit to the head.

Too little too late? After losing 4 straight games after starting 3-1 with an anemic offense, you finally decide maybe now it's time to admit your mistake and go back to what worked last year? I am glad they are doing it, don't get me wrong, but it seemed like everyone was calling for this back in Week 1. Daniels is clearly struggling, and with him at Center, he can't help Coward at RG, making a huge void in the line. So I like the move and think it is long overdue.

The Bears tight ends for Sunday could be: Ben Braunecker (10 career catches) J.P. Holtz (2 career catches) Bradley Sowell (1 career catch - a TD vs. the Rams - as an O-lineman) And maybe Jesper Horsted (0 NFL games)? Peace

A great article, a lot to digest. The Bears didn't bring in any QBs for private workouts. https://t.co/0UtH9OnYKG?amp=1

Kwiatkoski comes in off the bench and leads the team in tackles (9), has the only turnover (1 INT), a sack, and a PD. Jackson? 2 tackles and 1 PD. Mack? 2 tackles. Floyd? 2 tackles. Nichols and Goldman, each with 1 tackle each. RRH? Zero stats. So Kwit had more total stats than Jackson, Mack, Floyd, Nichols, Goldman, and RRH COMBINED!!!! That is ridiculous. Now a few others played pretty good, Prince, Nick Williams, Skrine, HHCD, and even Smith. but we need our stars to step the "f" up. I assume Trevathan is gone for the year after that grotesque injury to his arm (What's up with all the elbow injuries on this team?), so it will be interesting to see how Kw…

Last week it was “Nincompoops”, today “Despicable”. Thank you Dan Hampton for your no-nonsense take on the current state of our team. Couldn’t agree more. https://www.google.com/amp/s/bearswire.usatoday.com/2019/11/11/bears-lions-dan-hampton-despicable-win-week-10/amp/

Wow, I thought Trubisky was bad. Goff looks even worse thru 3 quarters. 15-28, 53.6%, 1 INT, 3 sacks, 1 fumble lost. Also, Goff never looks to run, he has one run longer than 5 yards, so the Bears won't need to have a spy on him. TJ Watt has 1.5 sacks, so if Mack can't get going against them, I fear he never will. The Rams defense is taking away the running game and making Rudolph beat them threw the air. I can see next week going to be an ugly game with either team scoring 20.

There are many good players on this team, so let's fix it. My thoughts are simple and always have been. We start by fixing the OL. Spend two high draft picks on OL. Spend one on QB. After that, draft speed on D. Clearly, Nagy has struggled this year and nobody is looking at Helfrich. I suggest Nagy hire a more conservative OC to balance his mad scientist style. I believe Helfrich is not a counter balance. Then, Nagy has to listen. On defense, Pagano needs to find his inner Fangio on defense. We heard how aggressive Pagano is. I haven't seen it. Lastly, stop trading up. It rarely works and sends an instant message to the drafted player saying,…

Lions 3-4-1, Bears 3-5, this game will more than likely decide who finishes last in the division. An important factor is next year's schedule. The last place team will get ARZ and WAS, while the 3rd place team will get LAR and NYG, actually a pretty big difference. Stafford is supposedly a game-time decision. Johnson is out, however, Golladay and Jones have been on fire. Even Amendola, who would be our #2 WR, is having a solid year. Marvin Hall is now on the Lions, and has 5 catches averaging 40 yards each. This game is going to come down to our secondary and our pass rush. I think the change with Daniels/Whitehair and the addition of Nall makes just enough dif…

Illinois came back from being down 31-10 to Michigan State in the 3rd quarter and won 37-34 after scoring 27 points in the 4th. HC Lovie Smith was carried off the field by his players as they became eligible for their first bowl game since 2014. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/ncaafb/lovie-smith-carried-by-illini-players-after-comeback-win/ar-BBWwuzr?li=BBnb7Kzy

So we traded Howard (making $2M) to then sign Davis for $3M a year. However, due to that signing, we lost a 4th round comp pick for the loss of Amos. If we cut Davis by Saturday, the Bears would recoup the 4th rounder and still have the 6th rounder for Howard next April. If Pace is not a complete idiot (jury is still out), then he has to make this move. We could've kept Howard, saved $1M and had a backfield of Howard, Montgomery, and Cohen this year. It's still mind-boggling that the Bears made this move. Pace now seems like one of those dumb people who think they are the smartest guy in the room. The Bears are 29-43 under Pace and headed for the 4th last …

One HELL of a game! Those two QBs (Tua and Burrow) are going to be something in the NFL. Look for Bama and LSU players dominating the draft in the next few years.

Ok it's gotten past the slump buster stage. I thought he was being sarcastic the first time I heard him. But he is serious. It's time to just bench him and hope they keep losing so he can come back in a week or two and think it's not just my fault. Which it's not. His head is just not able to process all the info it's getting at this time, I hope. His mind just doesn't seem to know how to process, not just the play on the field, but also the fallout from it. Over load Over load. Says a retired mailman who can't even begin t understand all the plays in pro football. Not sure if that makes my opinion better or worse. LOL
