  1. Everyone knows Cutler is throwing the ball yet he's still finding receivers.
  2. Seriously...the Bears need to figure out how to get him more involved.
  3. http://www.justin.tv/jonathanviera39 is working very well right now, but streams here have a habit of being shut down pretty quick.
  4. Now they just have to learn how to knock the ball down to help the QB avoid an INT.
  5. OTOH, isn't Green Bay in general one of those few places in the NFL where you can genuinely expect that your #1 receiver isn't going to get a whole lot of looks, just because of the quality of cornerbacks they have to put on your top guy? That's always what people said about Champ Bailey in his prime, and Charles Woodson and Al Harris are pretty highly thought of, although I didn't see enough of the game to genuinely say whether that was a factor.
  6. These guys pick different super bowl teams every week. It's what they do. The only ones who should let it bother them are the ones on the other 29 teams.
  7. Having popped both of my knees, I couldn't help but wince at watching that replay. Eek.
  8. It's also entirely possible this is a smokescreen and they're trying to make the Packers think Tillman won't be available or that he won't be 100% so they should try to pick on him.
  9. Wendell Davis shredded his knees on the turf at old Veteran's Stadium in Philadelphia, not Chicago.
  10. Do people want game threads pinned at the top of the board this year? (i.e. will you look for them in those couple threads at the top?)
  11. I found Peter King's MMQB today to have some insight on this.
  12. Seriously, I thought that it couldn't go past 158.2?
  13. I didn't think the rating number could go that high?
  14. Didn't they spend a #2 pick on a QB last year?
  15. And because the 3rd preseason game is the one where you really try to work on getting everything in game shape anyway.
  16. Also, it sort of depends on what we get out of these guys this season. If Harris returns to being a beast, Adams and the others clog up the middle, and that guy the Bears drafted steps in effectively, then there'll be very little reason to keep him at all.
  17. So he's basically guaranteed to be a FA next offseason unless the Bears tried to tag him (Hahaha) right? Yeah, probably very little reason to actively try to bring him back. Is there a way to offer him a league minimum contract next year with an invitation to training camp like there is in baseball? If the Bears feel they need D-Line depth next year that might be an option and if I were in his shoes I'd want to try to stay in Chicago where I know the system and maybe where I'd have a chance to be productive if I could ever stay healthy. But if anyone actually wants him, then there's no way you try to outbid them.
