Mock Drafts
Difference is- Omiyale is 28 and Webb is 22 or 23. The FO isn't going to give up on these right away, period. Jennings is 27, Tillman is 30, and Bowman is a ST player. Jennings is what he is- he SHOULD be a ST too, and it's obvious Tillman isn't going to get better.

Welker not afraid to step on toes
Anyone see Mangold's tweet yesterday in response? Something along the lines of "If we don't keep a SPY on Welker, it could open up the GATE."

Mock Drafts
And if you don't think we need major help on the DL, plus considering we have a FO who loves improving the DL, here's a stat: the Bears finished 17th in the NFL with 34 sacks, one less than last season. Even with Peppers and the almighty Idonije, you can bet your asses the Bears address the DL in the first 2 rounds, and if it happened in the 1st round, I wouldn't be angry nor surprised. Quite frankly, I don't want them taking some bozo from Boston College in round 1 who would typically go in round 3 JUST BECAUSE IT'S A BIG NEED. If it's a huge need, drafting guys and hoping they're Joe Thomas, Jake Long, and the next Jonathan Ogden FOR NEXT SEASON is ridiculous. In this case, go out and sign 1 or 2 vets.

Greatest Bears' highligh video of all time
Good calls. Or the Ogunleye safety in the NFC Championship game in 06-07, and as soon as it happened, it seemed like the snow started falling hard and the Bears took off. As for song suggestions- Black Parade by MCR and Hells Bells by ACDC.

Future FA fodder
Nate Solder is an interesting guy. He's a giant (6'8ish) but is pretty raw and slender for that height and for a LT. But he might be worth taking a flyer on. Like we've all said though, yes OL is a big need. But why draft a typical-2nd round guy in the late 1st just because? That kind of s*** gets a franchise in trouble.

Future FA fodder
Rumors out of Boston are that Matt Light might hang up the cleats after his contract is up. However, his teammate, OG Logan Mankins, will be a UFA as well. Edwards is kind of a headache. I'd rather them go after another young guy, maybe like a James Jones from GB. Despite his TD catch against Philly, he's kind of been the odd-man out there. Bush would be alright, but they should focus on CB too (Asomugha just got his contract terminated by Oakland. Only problem is- he's going to demand huge money and will the Bears do that again after a $120m offseason).

The key against Seattle
Well obviously. Garza was out, it was Webb's 2nd game at RT, and Williams' first game as an OG. However, I think the key is running the ball. Like I said in another thread, the Bears ran the ball 12 times (passed 47) in week 6 vs Seattle. If Seattle sacks Cutler 5-6 times again, I think the Bears can still win if they have a better balance offensively. Plus, Martz would have to be retarded to not run with Forte, one of the hottest RB's in football.

#2 seed and an underdog?
They didn't pick the game. They'll probably do that tomorrow or Friday. Also, they had S.Young on again. He went about saying that the Bears can win it all if Cutler doesn't f*** up. No s*** Steve, or maybe if the D doesn't f*** up. If they play like they did vs the Jets or Patriots against Seattle, you can forget it, a**hole.

#2 seed and an underdog?
I think FUDGE is referring to "underdogs" as the Bears are still getting no love nationally. Walterfootball.com, my favorite sports site, picked Seattle 20-17 too. Skip Bayless, one of my favorite personalities and former writer in Chicago who LOVES Cutler, and Jemele Hill on First Take today, in other words, both said Hasselbeck > Cutler. People are saying- Seattle has nothing to lose. What does that even f***ing mean? Seattle has as much to lose as the other 7 teams left. They want a chance to win a championship too.

Back in the again playoffs in 2011-12
I always knew those fans were semi-insane but, wow, that's pretty scary.

Bears were going to draft Starks
This is a pretty...idiotic story. So what? Starks is supposedly a good RB and just what the Packers need. Really? The dude had a good game and they only scored 21 points against a team with an average AT BEST defense. Also, analysts keep saying how Rodgers is on fire. Yes he's 3-0 in his last 3 games but they have scored f***ing 31 points in the last 2 games. Yippee.

Too long of a drive to Oakland?

#2 seed and an underdog?
23-16 Bears, going to Atlanta for a chance to go to the Dance.

#2 seed and an underdog?
The Bears threw the ball 47 or so times and only ran it 12 times when they played Seattle week 6. This WILL NOT happen again, I can guarantee it. Even if Martz has a relapse, he isn't dumb enough to not realize how well Forte has been running. With a balanced attack, the Bears should be able to win the game.

Game on. Bring Seattle to Chicago.

Back in the again playoffs in 2011-12
ALL of those games are winnable. There isn't one team there that you say "man, that'll be impossible", even New Orleans. However, they're just as losable.

Vikings possibly adding Singletary and McDaniels
McDaniels is a pass first OC. They might as well trade Peterson if they sign McD.

Devin Hester
I couldn't have said it much better than Jason. Hester has changed the way the NFL will be played...forever.

All of Hester's Return TD's...
We have a member here named Cutsizzle who makes good videos. After the year, I'd love to watch a video with ALL of his returns with Joniak's voice doing the calls.
