  1. I think you're right about the D losing something. It's bound to happen. And even under Smith, we've all pretty much predicted that it would start losing a step due to age. But, the key is the O should start to take off. I imagine not early on, but sometime in the season. The hope is the the gains on O will significantly outweigh the losses on D.
  2. Agreed. ...and building an offense isn't a slap in Lovie's face. It's just completely alien to him.
  3. The vast majority of changes are seriously warranted. A couple could be debated at this juncture, but we will find out how it all shakes out soon enough.
  4. Barring some splitting of hairs, I agree as well.
  5. Heard the 'Fins picked E-Rod up...
  6. Could this be insurance for Gronk?

  8. I think that pretty much sums it up...
  9. Looks like a good play at this time in the game... We'll see how it all shakes out, but this moves seems like a good one giving depth to the WR position.

  11. Rod is the first bust on Emery's plate. He appears unafraid to move forward despite being his pick.
  12. No arguement there... There simply aren't enough spaces!
  13. Looking at your avitar...one is likely to get distracted!
  14. Contraty to popular blief, my team name is the Mad Lithuanians...
  15. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/category/rumor-mill/ I chose Halas, Ditka, Butkus & Payton....so many other worthy choices.
  16. Every season, the guys say the same thing in the beginning. So I really am not putting too much stock in it myself either. The hope is they keep saying that same throughout and atthe end of the season...of course after the SB parade.

  18. I didn't go clubbing at 20-24. I didn't have the money. I stayed home and got bombed with my pals at home. How about try that for a little bit until the heat blows over? Take some word of wisdom from us old guys on the board...have fun. But be smart about it. And being int he public eye after getting nailed is not smart no matter how you got home. It's just evil if he actually drove vs dumb getting driven. Being 20 isn't an exuse to be a moron. Sure, we forgive a bit for youthful indescretions...but not after the 3rd (and counting) failure.
  19. Having fun and being smart are 2 completely different things... Sometimes they can go hand in hand, but it always the case. Having fun when the media's and team's eyes are upon you isn't smart. Show a lack of concern and respect for the team. I'm not saying cut him. Yet. I'm simply saying the guy is dumb.
  20. Ha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At first I just wondered..."Did he get a cab home? If so, then lesson learned!" But the more I think about it, I think the guy is either just an achoholic or dumbass. Or probably both. Of course, unless he was just dancin' and swillin' Shirley Temples as you said...
  21. To call him dumb as paint would be an insult to paint...
